Contemporary Surfaces

Counter top was installed in coordination with my contractor but the seam is badly placed and very visible. Will (owner) sent his best guy to try and solve it but it has not beeN improved at all and now my calls are not being returned. Very displeased to have paid full price for a less than perfect product and very disappointed with this company’s follow up

Will was personable, on time and all workers were thorough and gracious. They paid attention to detail, which was very important to me in this kitchen renovation. The level of professionalism was greatly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend contemporary surfaces to others! They do great work.

For our kitchen reno, we had Contemporary Surfaces install our quartz countertops. Leigh and the team were great to work with. We called Leigh and she showed us some samples from their suppliers. They had a nice selection since they work with a number of different suppliers. Once we picked our quartz countertop, Leigh gave us a quote, which was very reasonable. Actually, we thought we got a really great piece of stone for the price. Much better than other places we looked at.

During our reno, we had some issues with some other trades and had to reschedule our countertop install date. Leigh was very gracious and understanding. During the templating and install, Mike came, and he was very polite and professional. They did a good job installing the countertop.

Overall, we are very happy with our countertops and the service we got.

I was very impressed with Will. He was so helpful trying to find just the right piece of granite to suit our budget. Him and his team made a remnant work that many had already turned us down for. Most suppliers turned us away because I wanted to fulfil a granite dream on a laminate budget.
Will worked within our budget at his detriment and gave me my dream kitchen. You’ve got to love a company who is in it to make their customer’s dreams come true!

Great Service. 1 stop shop. All you do is pick the type of countertop and they will arrange everything including installation. Showed up on time and installed countertops and under mount sink. This is the second time I have used contemporary surfaces and I highly recommend them for your kitchen upgrades.

I renovated my kitchen last year and wanted a pretty specific quartz counter top, so I went to more than five places to shop around. Leigh from Contemporary Surfaces gave me the best price and after talking with them and visiting their shop I decided to go with them. This was one of my best renovation experiences - the project was on time, on budget and the quality did not disappoint! The installers are knowledgeable and great to work with and Leigh has been very helpful and quick to respond to every question along the way. Highly recommended!

Everything about Will and his business was fantastic! After checking few recommended places and getting quotes I decided to do my extra research. Found Will online and was amazed by his customer focus and professionalism. Decided to go ahead with his offer and was beyond happy with the work down. The quartz was well cut and properly fitted. The work was done in no time and price was by far way better then most places in the city.
I recommend Will to all my friends and would always work with him!

Update: They fixed the quartz tops after 4 months. I am happy they fixed them but they took a long time which is a negative. Original: I ordered custom quartz tables in April 2019, they were ready in 2 days, Great!, I take them home and they had marks on them that no measure of cleaning would remove. I reached out on April 22, to get this fixed. They tried to fix over a few visits, which was appreciated, but it was over months apart ☹ and not able to fix. I wasn't in a rush as it was a secondary room. They said they would resolve by replacing and I have been waiting 2 months since they said that.... Still willing to change my review since I am that nice if they will just fix this...
