Niko's Moving

Moving team was right on time. Ryan and Danny were very personable and a pleasure to work with. Very efficient and had the right equipment for the job. Very knowledgeable and abided by all (Covid) requirements in the retirement home. Move was very smooth.

This company has moved me multiple times. I trusted this time that the owner would take care of the sofa they destroyed the previous move.
This move, the guys took 9 hours to move furniture into a 10x 20 storage locker therefore extremely slow.
The complained all day. The locker was packed so horribly that I have no space to add to it as I need too. Pics below.
Our expensive credenza was damaged in all sides and the mover took no responsibility when it was in new condition.
The owner has not replied to any of my messages and does not deserve your business.

Highly recommended! They moved me from my basement apartment to a condo and everything was done perfectly. They took care of the furniture as well as walls in both end. They were friendly and fast.

Niko Moving has been extremely helpful with my complicated move. They have been very patient as well.

I was moving from a 3 bedroom house into a new property. I thought this would be a common situation for most experienced moving companies. On moving day, the 3 movers spent hours on the phone with Niko arguing about the terms of our agreement (confirmed a month before in writing and on the phone) and then unloaded the 12 boxes they had slowly loaded onto their truck, said they wouldn't do the move - and drove away!

Only after I threatened litigation did they return with 5 men, 2 trucks and talk of higher rates.

The movers smoked on the truck with my possessions on board, and didn't pack their truck properly, so multiple trips had to be done to the storage lockers ( which I was forced to rent because Niko didn't follow through on his promise to store the furniture on the truck for a day.) Only with my help was this first part of the job finished before midnight.

I thought Niko would try extra hard to make up for the first part of the move, but instead, he also backed out of the second part of the move (from the lockers to the new house) saying his men weren't available as he said they would be, but he could do it another day. Instead, I hired another moving company as I should have from the beginning - this company's 3 men fit everything onto one truck and unloaded it at my house in the same time as the 5 men sent by Niko and his 2 trucks.

This whole experience was absolutely unbelievable. I don't understand how a business can operate like this.

I called Niko for a condo move across town. Rob and Tony arrived on time, were friendly and worked quickly while still being careful with my furniture and boxes. The move went flawlessly. I'll be calling Niko again for my next move.

I hired Niko Movers recently to have my elderly mother moved from her longtime house into a seniors building and we couldn't have been happier with their excellent service. From the time the movers arrived (Bill, Rob and Darren I believe) we were knew we were in goods hands. They took the time to wrap and protect every piece carefully and my mother was very impressed and was very thankful. The movers went out of their way to make sure my mother felt a part of the entire process.

They were able to have the move completed in less time than expected and even asked if we wanted anything else moved after the truck was unloaded.....such a classy group!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move. They are a well run machine.

I’ve moved several times within Toronto, across the country and internationally — and I have never worked with a team of movers so professional. The organization of the move was as easy as the move itself. They arrived on-time and began immediately. They were focused throughout on getting the job done as quickly as possible, and careful about doing it right. The entire move was frictionless.

I’d been referred to Niko’s Moving by my girlfriend — who has referred them to multiple people, all of whom share my view — and I will continue to do the same. Highly recommend this team, no matter the size of the move. They’ll get it done fast and do it well.

We used Nikko on a recommendation from a friend, and came out of the experience lukewarm to them. The movers themselves were good, and they moved everything pretty safely, but they did complain about needing to bring a truckload of boxes and furniture up a flight of stairs (a tough job, yes, but that's why we are paying for movers). The thing that turned us off of them, though, was that they increased their hourly rate and only told us about it at the end. When our mover called the owner, the owner simply replied that he didn't have the time to deal with the issue (we never actually spoke to him directly). Since we did another move a week before with a different company, it was easy to see the clear differences in attitude and professionalism. I'd pay a bit more for that.

Needed a small truck and 2 men to use for condo to retirement home. Niko showed up right on time, worked constantly with no breaks, and even called ina 3rd man to help when we arrived at retirement home. Kept the same price as quoted . Very nice guys and efficient service. Would use again!
