Our non-profit museum had a major issue with one of our buildings. The guys at Whytes gave us a quote for the work that was very reasonable.

During the project the team found additional issues which they repaired and honoured the original quote.

We had Whytes Masonary in to build a feature fireplace. Very happy with the quality and craftsmanship. Cuts were precise and clean. Kept a very clean worksite. Laid floor protector beforehand and did a great clean up. Thank you Jason for such a professional job. Also appreciate how this job was completed on time. Very efficient and organized company. Cannot wait to have your team back this spring for parging and exterior brick repair. Highly recommend A+++. Cheers.

Our project consisted of a door sill replacement and tuckpointing repair. The quoting process was fast, simple and amazingly accurate. Jason arrived exactly when he said he would, left the site very clean and did a phenomenal job. He explained every detail of what was being done, and more importantly why he was doing it. He was even good with our kids when they were watching the work being done.

I would not hesitate for a second to work with Jason again. If you live and Durham and need a mason you'd be well advised to have him help you out. I only wish I'd have found him sooner!

Gave a quote for chimney repair and some other work, contacted at season start and said he will do it season end. Since then has since been ducking calls for weeks now. Hung up the phone on me. Unprofessional, poor communication.

Came to give me a quote in April 2021 and said it would be about a month or so before they could complete the job. I followed up with them end of May and Jason said they would be out in two weeks to take care of the repair. After following up about 3 weeks later Jason and his partner showed up, unloaded 2 scaffolds and said it was too hot, loaded back up and left. He continued to give me the run around for about another week, only this time using potential rain in the forecast as the excuse. Finally he just stopped replying to my text messages all together. Massive waste of my time.

Jason was hired to fill in an unsightly crack on the front of my house that we had nicknamed our Harry Potter crack. He did a full inspection of all the brickwork around our house...fixed all visible cracks...gave us clear instructions on how to help it set and left with practically zero remnants of the job. The job was done on time, at a reasonable cost and looks amazing! Hoping to have him back to fix our chimney and replace our windowsills next!

Hired to tear down and rebuild the chimney plus parging and tuckpointing.
Jason was great to deal with and did the job on time and on budget. Job looks great and we are very pleased.
