There was a power failure recently and when I tried to disengage the garage door opener, realized that I didn't know how to use the emergency release cord. I was afraid of breaking it and decided to get a cab instead. Though, I called this garage door company that had the kindness to send someone over to show me what to do in such occasions. Great help!
