We hired JF contracting to replace our roof after a very lengthy consultation with the original owner Joe. Joe was very detail oriented, knowledgeable and had excellent customer service skills and always made sure we were happy. We saved up for a while to do this project and were assured there would be no further leaks in our roof and that we would have a 1 year warrantee against any leaks. The project was completed in April 2019.
We were happy with the service initially, everything was done well, on time, and clean up was good. However, during this project our main contact changed to be with a manager David instead of the owner Joe. David was not as much a perfectionist as Joe and certainly wasn't as good at customer service as we had a few negative encounters with him.
A few months after the project was finished were were disappointed to find a new leak in our roof!! I waited until January (4 months before the warranty was over) to contact them as i know they are busy during the warmer months. It took from January to end of March of back and fourth daily calls, emails, texts of dealing with David, which was extremely stressful because he would say he would call ,or come to assess and then he just wouldn't show up or just wouldn't respond for hours to my messages so I wouldn't know if he was going to show up or not like he had assured me he would- needless-to-say, he didn't show up.
In the end David refused to look into this leak/come and assess it.
Joe ended up bringing the roofer this weekend (in June) to fix the leak issue. We are very happy to have been in touch with Joe as he is an excellent guy and we wish him the best of luck.
