My City Movers

They arrived 10 minutes earlier.

The leader introduced himself and his movers and was very professional and courteous.

We had a lot of stuff and a lot of boxes, that did not seem to overwhelm them.

There were 3 of them, after having showed them the things, they set up the 5 tons truck and soon after that they started to load the truck.

I kept asking questions which they would respond in a professional manner.

Some advice if you are moving, make sure you pack everything in boxes way ahead of time and label them properly.

At the new location have someone direct them carefully where each box goes, a color label would help a lot, you will save a lot of time.

If you have friends that can help with loading and unloading that would cut the time enormously.

In the end, It took longer than I imagined but I am totally satisfied and would recommend them without hesitation.

Great move from my city movers. On time, hard working and great guys. Well worth the investment.

Very recently My City Movers quite literally rescued my mother's move after our original movers no-showed. We contacted My City Movers right away and within 45min they showed up with a clean 5-ton truck fully equipped with all necessary moving supplies and equipment, and 2 uniformed movers. Glenn and Chris were just great, organized, careful with our things, AND fun to work with... right to the very end of a long hard day We really couldn't have asked for a better outcome considering the circumstances, and wished we had called them in the first place. 2 small men with dollies moved our heavy shed, sitting on shifting sand, in about a half hour. We were impressed.

I had called around to several moving companies. It was very easy to book with My City Movers. Brian and Junior helped us with the move. They were on time, very efficient and took extra care to make sure walls were not hit (at all), furniture was wrapped and protected. It was a very smooth transition from one location to another. I would not hesitate to recommend this amazing company.

The piano move into the new home was a challenge but the crew did it without any issue. My only complaint that the terms of the contract (in particular, that they charge a minimum of three hours for any job) was not outlined before their services were hired. The moving crew itself was efficient and friendly.

The movers arrived a few minutes early and were very pleasant and helpful, even assisting us with room layout ideas at the move-in site.
Everything was moved according to plan. However, they did charge for the bridge toll, which I think is ridiculous, given the overall cost of the job.

We called a number of different moving companies and received quotes we felt were rather high for moving our small 2 bedroom townhouse. I called My City Movers based on they're reviews on Homestars. They were able to do the dates we wanted, had storage available and provided a very reasonable hourly rate and travel time rate from Vadim.

Even with the good reviews, this was the first time we had used movers to move and were a little nervous that everything would go smoothly. I emailed them some questions and received a call from Vadim within minutes to answer any questions I had, which put my mind at ease.

Our entire move went great. The guys showed up when they said they would, were very nice, worked hard and efficiently, were careful with our stuff, wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped, and were done before we knew it. It was so nice just being able to sit back while professionals with the right tools hauled everything out. I was also very impressed with how well everything was packed into their truck, having done my share of U-haul moves in the past.

Our move was really almost 2 moves in 1 as they had to load up, unload into storage, load up the truck again and unload into the new house. If it had been a normal move, our price would have been almost half.

We were very happy with My City Movers, were happy with what we were charged, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hard workers! Didn't have a big enough truck for our move and had to get another truck which meant we were down to only 2 moving men instead of 4 for about 2 hours, which added to the total numbers of hours of work we had to pay for in the end. It all worked out though. The guys were great and were super friendly and efficient. They made a potentially stressful day fun.
