Leo and the crew at Patriarch Construction completed my new driveway in NW Calgary. They were not only efficient and professional but they were on time and delivered an outstanding final product. We are greatly appreciative for the work they did for us and would highly recommend using Patriarch Construction for all of your concrete needs.

Over 900 sf of exposed aggregate and broom finish patio and sidewalk. Leo and his crew did a very good job. They started a few days earlier than scheduled!! And finished in a timely manner. Results looks great. Cleanup was satisfactory. Attention to detail was good throughout the project. My concern for drainage away from the house foundation was dealt with. You are always concerned about picking the right contractor, especially a big project. I was nervous. Leo and his crew came in and got the job done!

Leo and his crew were outstanding. In the space of four business days, they removed the existing 40-year old builder patio block walkway from the front steps to the city sidewalk. Then using their "Ditch Witch" and good old fashioned shovel power, they excavated for the new sidewalk. This was followed by forms and compacted gravel, re-bar and finally the concrete pour and finishing. They kept the work site clean and were very attentive to details. Overall a very professional job. I highly recommend Leo and his company for your concrete needs. All of the above work was also completed simultaneously for two other neighbors who were also very pleased with the job and the competitive pricing!

In July 2018, Patriarch concrete replaced my old concrete driveway with a new one. Ten months later, I noticed a lot of pitting on the finish and contacted Leo who came out to have a look. At the time, we could not come to an agreement as to the cause of the pitting I continued to pay attention to the extent of the pitting, it is now much worse (March 2020).
I have been in contact with Leo once again and he has indicated that he will correct the problem.

It is now July 2020 and Leo has had Universal sand blasting do my driveway today. I am pleased with the result and am now a happy customer. Thank you Leo.

Very professional and personable business owner. Work started on time and we experienced delays that were no fault of the contractor. They worked diligently to put us back into their schedule once our city issues had been addressed. This is a family owned and operated business and it is easy to see how they worked together as a team and take great pride to provide a solid finished product to their customers. Our invoice was close to quote and we were very happy with the final result. They even went the extra mile to seal our existing exposed planter trim on our property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leo, Sam and crew, and would use them again, if required.

We recently had Patriarch Construction remove our old wooden steps and small concrete patio and replace with exposed aggregate. We were very pleased with every aspect of the job.

Leo came in the spring to discuss our options, gave a reasonable quote and we booked the work for early September. Despite the many rainy days this year, Leo and his Patriarch team started the work on the promised date and completed the project in 4 days. They were meticulous in planning the work and discussing it with us - the new concrete grade matches existing concrete and slopes away from the house appropriately. They did a great job working in a very confined area, were careful not to disturb plants in the nearby garden and cleaned up the work area after each day.

The work was to pour a colored patterned concrete patio, remove and replace some old sidewalk, and install a new section of sidewalk. I found Leo through Homestars and was super happy I hired him. He is very responsive - always quick to answer my questions (there were many) and he really listened to what I was hoping to achieve and then gave me the information needed to help me make decisions. The price was good value. The work of Leo and his crew was top notch and professional - on time, courteous, clean and tidy, & respectful of my property. They worked hard and got my job done before a crazy late spring snowstorm would have stopped everything mid way through. The product certainly shows the pride Leo and his crew took in doing a great job. Above and beyond... they salvaged soil and sod for me instead of hauling it away, and when I came home from work on the final day I found they had replaced some that soil along the edges of the new concrete and built a small step off the lane-end of the sidewalk (with paving stones I had for that purpose). I was expecting to spend hours doing these 2 jobs that afternoon. What an excellent surprise!
