Carpet Selections

We needed to replace the carpet on 3 flights of stairs in our condo townhouse. We found that Carpet Selections was one of the most highly-rated companies in the GTA on HomeStars. We emailed Perry and he was quick to respond to our inquiry to set up a meeting.

Perry met us at our condo and brought along a range of carpet samples that would suit our needs and our budget. Our first impressions of Perry was that he was soft-spoken, down-to-earth and incredibly honest. He told us about each carpet option, pros/cons and ensured that we picked one that suited us the best. Most importantly, he was not pushy and genuinely seemed to care about our needs.

Once we decided on our carpet choice, he was able to provide an estimate on the spot, told us roughly how long it would take to do the job. He also encouraged us to shop around and consider other companies as well (which we did). In the end, Perry provided us with the most competitive price, and we were not disappointed. He was very accommodating and really went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy when we decided to go with him.

Perry then set up a pre-installation meeting with his installer (Erdem); they both came to verify final measurements and to identify any potential difficulties. I really felt that being able to meet the installer helped to build trust and reassurance.

On the installation day, Erdem showed up on time with two other installers at 08:00h. They worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old carpet and under-pad. They explained each step of the process, so that there were no surprises. They meticulously cut and installed each section of the carpet with the same high degree of quality; all the edges were seamless and invisible. They even made sure to correct any imperfections that pre-existed on the staircase! It really demonstrated that they cared about their craft, and their workmanship really shows through in the final product. They did an amazing job!

They actually finished the job in less time than they initially promised (they only took 4-4.5 hours from start to finish). Afterward, they swept the floors and did a very good job cleaning up and disposed of all the debris from the job. All the installers were incredibly professional and courteous, and really respected our home.

Perry and his team did an exceptional job, and we would absolutely recommend Carpet Selections without hesitation. Well done, and thank you again!
