I interviewed a total of 5 moving companies before I entered into a contract with Lloyd Empires Moving. Mike came to the house to look at the contents and provide us with a written estimate. His price was quite reasonable compared to the other moving companies.
He answered my questions that came up before the move in a very quick and satisfactory manner. He provided wardrobe boxes and picture boxes at no additional charge.
His team of three arrived on moving day and were phenomenal. They were very respectful of our belongings as well as the house. No walls were scuffed or anything broken. The crew worked extremely hard and only took the occasional 5 minute break. In addition to the house we had a garage and garden shed full of belongings. As agreed, they retained the contents on their truck overnight and delivered them to our new home the next day. Again, efficient and expect service were delivered. It was a nice touch to have the beds set up for us. Everything was placed exactly where requested.

We also had two Dymon storage lockers which Lloyd Empires moved the contents for us the following Saturday. It was very many trips up and down the
elevator to load the contents into their truck. Again the 2-man crew was exceptional. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They made sure that we were fully satisfied with the placement of everything and asked if there was anything else that they could do for us prior to leaving.

You cannot go wrong With Lloyd Empires. I was so pleasantly surprised that they exceeded my expectations in every aspect of the move. Please note that the price noted in the review represents 2 separate moves; the main house on a Tuesday and the storage lockers on the subsequent Saturday.

Best move experience EVER. Mike was incredibly helpful on the booking end and the gentlemen he sent to do the move were prompt, professional and pleasant. What a wonderful job they did - careful and conscientious. Will definitely use their services when we move out of our home. Couldn't have had a better team. Thank you to all of the team.

Efficient, reliable, friendly and caring. Mike’s team makes the move process easy. This is my second move with Lloyd Moving and Delivery. The second move involved storage and again my belongings were handled with care in and out...I highly recommend them!

I had to schedule a move from Kingston to Ottawa with only 3 weeks notice and Mike and his team took care of everything. They even accommodated my need for overnight storage since my new apartment wasn't going to be available immediately. These guys were great, competitively priced, and I'll definitely be calling them first for future moves.

I sent them my information and had a quote within a couple hours. Mike was polite, responded quickly to messages, and was happy to answer any questions.

The movers were fast, professional and friendly as well. They had the 40 or so boxes I packed out of my 2 bedroom apartment and on to the truck within an hour. They also took great care wrapping all my furniture, computers and other equipment. Everything arrived safely and undamaged.

If you're setting up a move you should give these guys a call.

The guys were quick and efficient. Nothing was damaged. A lot of heavy furniture was moved with ease. Despite rainy conditions. Thoroughly impressed and I highly recommend them.
