We ordered shutters for our new home in November and they were installed 6 weeks later. Jeff and his team were punctual, informative, professional and tidy. The final result is better than we imagined. Great pricing, high quality product and excellent service. Highly recommend!

I've gone to the big box stores and this price was the lowest of all with better quality shutters. None of them could deliver by Christmas but this company had come through - only 1 issue - they had the wrong size shutter (which was not a big issue) and was rectified within a couple of weeks. Many phone calls were made to let me know how things were coming along throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this company.

I used Jeff services for my previous house in Newmarket copper hills community . I was quite impressed by the way he dealt . Jeff is a professional and besides the quote he gave was the best I got . I wanted shade o matic and he is a tried and trusted dealer for them. Jeff replied to the call and paid a visit the next day . He took measurements and placed the order the same evening. The order placement call was made right in front of us and the way shade o magic ppl treated him showed the respect he has gained over decades of work with them . The order took two weeks time and was installed the next day . His new team of installers JOHN/Jon and his buddy were very polite and professional. They did their job in an hour or so . Cleaned up and left . Jeff came the next day even though he got hurt while playing hockey ?.

I met Jeff when he knocked on our door while distributing his business flyers on a chilly day in December .He had a look at all the windows which were 25+ and since it was a new built explained about how some of the windows are crooked and its easy to install but hard to make them appear straight . I was interested in the bamboo blinds from shade o matic , their higher end product but Jeff advised to install the faux wood horizontal blinds in the bathroom bringing the price tag down :) It took two to three weeks to have them made and then his installer Tony( may his soul rest in peace ) came with his son and installed it for us .They were professional ,fast and courteous .They finished their job in an hour and a half ,did the clean up and left .Jeff came to pick up the rest of the payment ,explained how to operate and left .
we have used them for almost 4 yrs ,no complaints .Kitchen sheer vertical blinds was the most expensive product ,suggested by Jeff but its worth the price .

Jeff knocked on our door at about 6pm on the day we moved into our new home. He left us some information and went on his way. I had already contacted someone about getting blinds installed but I decided to contact Jeff to get a quote. I got a sameday appointment moments after emailing him. He arrived on time and we went over our options. I should note we had about 23 windows that needed treatments. After all was said and done we made our choice and Jeff gave us a price which was very reasonable. He scheduled a tentative installation date for September the 9th providing the blinds were ready. He explained his installer Tony would be attending at our home to install the blinds and Tony would call us on the day to let us know he was on his way. This is where it all fell apart. You see Jeff initially touted himself as an tenacious yet humble businessman. He assured us he is heavily involved in the process from beginning to end and that he would contact us two days prior to the installation date to advise if the September 9th date was a go or not. Well we
didn't hear from him on the 7th so we called him on the 8th only to be told that he did not advise his office of the installation day and as such the installation would not be done on the 9th . The new installation date was set for September 23rd and we were given a 2 hour window of 8am-10am. On Saturday September 23rd we waited for a call from the installer Tony. That call never came. We called Jeff shortly after 10am advising we had not heard from Tony and the two hour arrival window had since closed. Jeff said he would contact him and he would get back to us. He didn't. We had to call Jeff yet again. It was now almost noon when we received a call from some woman from Jeff's office advising the installers would arrive within half an hour. They didn't. It's now almost 1pm and Jeff calls to say he's not been able to reach Tony and then requests that we have his installers call him immediately upon arrival as he needs to speak to them. That was most annoying to me. Finally at 1pm two installers show up. A young man and a woman. Not who I was expecting but ok, they arrived so please just install the blinds. They were pleasant and got right to work. At around 3pm another installer showed up. The other two apparently left... I didn't even see them go, and the third guy completed the job and collected the balance owing. I don't have a problem with the installers at all. They were all quite pleasant, they did their job and removed all the packaging. I do however have a huge problem with Jeff. His service after the sale is atrocious. I find it rather amusing that he had the audacity to say he prides himself on keeping his clients in the loop and yet we were left scratching our heads and wondering what was going on. To date we haven't heard from him since the installation day. No apology for the first inconvenience regarding the installation date, no apology for the wait time on the second scheduled installation date. Zero. He has no control over the installation process whatsoever. I'm pretty sure there is a reason why the installers don't return his calls. He's annoying to say the least. He is very quick to collect payment and he has yet to follow up to see if we are satisfied. At the end of the day the product is nice, the price is reasonable but as far as recommending Jeffrey Paul Home Improvements....ABSOLUTELY NOT! do yourself a favor, find someone else because this company is a joke.

I purchased Shade-O-Matic shutters from Jeff about a month ago. Jeff and his team are amazing, very nice and pleasant to deal with. Jeff is very professional, knowledgeable and provide great advices on the right products for our home . He took the time to answer all our questions, kept us inform on the progress every step of the way and returned my calls promptly. I would definitely recommend Jeff to anybody that is looking for shutter or any window covering.

My sister hired Jeff and purchased blinds from him, then I asked my sister for Jeff's contact and I also made my purchase with him. His team is wonderful, from Sales to measurements to installation, every part was done professionally and very detailed oriented.
My blinds just got installed today and they are gorgeous!! Now my windows looks amazing!! Thanks to Jeff whom took care of the whole process, he's extremely knowledgeable of the products and gave great advise to what I need for certain areas of the house, he also followed up closely with me so I know the whole process of when and what to expect. John Piruzza whom came and did the measurements of all the windows and doors, again professionally done, he took the time to measure precisely making sure zero mistakes!! Then comes Tony Piruzza the installer, professional, quick and knowledgeable, very clean and tidy!!!
I would refer this friendly team to anyone who I come across that need blinds and shades on their windows!! Thanks again, I'm very very happy with their work!! =)

I used Jeffrey Paul for 2 homes, fully outfitted all the windows in both with Shadomatic shutters. Price and quality can't be beat. A few post install adjustments were required and they were done without any issues. Will use him again.

Jeff promptly returned my phone call. He immediately contacted the blind manufacturer for parts I required for an older blind. The parts arrived within 3 days. I would recommend and use Jeff again.
