We recently had the old crumbling chimney lining replaced, the top cemented and capped as well as rain caps installed. Robert explained in detail what the job entailed, and showed us before and after pictures and called to ensure we were satisfied with the work. He even cleaned out the damper in the fireplace after the job was completed.
We have found both the work done by Avenue Road Roofing and Masonry and their staff to be exceptional.
This is the latest project they have completed for us, having previously done our roof (Kas) and aluminium cladding. We highly recommend them.

We had 12 brick window sills replaced with limestone. They are beautiful and add a touch of elegance. Thanks to Robert and his team who have done a great job! We will not hesitate to contact this company again for any future masonry work.

We hired Avenue Road Masonry to parch the basement. Their work was excellent. A few weeks later I called them to fix a loose interlocking stone on my porch. It was urgent as I had a crownd of people coming over. Chris, one of the owners, came right away and stabilized the stone. He did not charge for the service because I was a previous customer. Without hesitation I rate the company 10/10.

The company did a comprehensive tuck pointing job on the entire house. The work was scheduled quickly, it was done very thoroughly, and I was invited to review the quality of the work halfway through and at the end. I am a layperson, but from my experience this company seems to operate very professionally, so I highly recommend it.

Chris and his crew went above and beyond to deal with our roof, loose bricks, all the tuck pointing, capped chimneys, cleaned eaves and gutters and helped me understand other roofing issues and why e have them. We had a leak in our garage, that was caused by cracks in our masonry wall.
Chris the owner of the company came out and took a look, he was very thorough as to what needed to be done and sent me a detail quote as to what the cost of the repairs would be.
His crew was on time and very professional. They took their time and made sure everything was done properly. Chris also assured me that their work is guaranteed in the event any issues came up.
We liked the fact that we were dealing with a company that is established and has been around.
Chris was available through email or phone and easy to get a hold at any given time, willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had.

Our small concrete porch was sinking on one side pushing on a retaining wall so it needed replacing. We obtained several quotes and decided on Avenue Road after dealing with Chris. He arrived on time and gave us a great explanation of the work his crew would carry out. We were impressed with his professionalism and his price. His price was lower than most...we went with him over a slightly lower quote because of his attention to detail in outlining the work his crew would do. We also liked the fact we were dealing with an established company. We felt strongly that we could trust Chris to do a good job for us.

A 3 man crew, led by Robert, showed up on time and spent the better part of 2 days removing the old porch, installing forms and pouring concrete. Robert checked with us with each step to make sure we were happy with step heights etc. The work was hampered by cold weather and some rain but the crew worked through it all. They took the time to finish the porch with detailed edging and a brushed on pattern in the surface that allowed for better footing on rainy days.

The work was done on time, on budget, and the final result was perfect. I would recommend Avenue Road Masonry for any job, big or small. I've dealt with many contractors over the years for projects around my home and I would put Chris, Robert and the crew at the top of the list. We are very satisfied with the work from start to finish.

We recently had all the window sills replaced on our 25 year old home due to brick deterioration as well as fixing the brick around the dryer vent. Chris was honest and straightforward with the quote provided. He also promised no sub contracting on his jobs which is a common occurrence in the masonry industry. He promised the job would be done in 2 days and the team delivered on this promise. They worked hard and were efficient and ensured the property was cared for while doing the job and ensured they cleaned up when finished. We are very happy and the house looks awesome with the new window slabs. I highly recommend this company if you require masonry work on your home!
