I am so happy that a HomeStars search directed me to this top notch masonry contractor. My initial online inquiry was responded to very quickly. A personal visit by the company's sales manager, Chris, immediately convinced me that I had made the proper choice. Chris's professional manner, honesty, friendliness and range of options for the necessary repair work definitely set him apart from the typical fast-talking, offer-you-the-world sales people so prevalent in today's workplace. Even though the damage to my brick chimney ended up more extensive than initially anticipated, the job was completed expertly, without any delay and for the original quoted price. Absolutely incredible! Thank you! You have a new client for life!

This is the second time I have used Avenue Road Masonry. The first time was a few years back when they replaced a number of bricks on my front porch. This time they replaced deteriorating bricks on the back wall of my house and my garage, filled in a number of holes where the mortar was crumbling, and did some tuckpointing. My house is 110 years old. I wanted the new bricks and mortar to be a good match to the existing masonry and the quality of the work to complement the heritage aspect of the house. Avenue Road Masonry met those goals. Their workers were on time, professional, proficient, polite, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. They listened to me, answered all my questions, and gave me great information so I could make informed decisions. At several points during the project, I was contacted and asked to provide feedback to the supervisor so they could gauge whether they were meeting my expectations and whether I had any concerns. I have no hesitations or reservations about recommending Avenue Road Masonry. From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with them. If I need more brickwork in the future, I will be calling Avenue Road Masony.

Avenue Road Masonry did some brick work on my house recently. We wanted to brick up the bottom part of the kitchen windows and move the window sills up. To make things more complicated, the house bricks are a mix or red and black bricks. Everything was excellent starting with the communication with Chris and Rob, discussing the project, getting a quote and going into production. The crew did an excellent job, matching the bricks, workmanship, worked hard and were very friendly and polite. It was a pleasure. I would highly recommend Avenue Road Masonry to anyone without hesitation.

Our chimneys required rebuilding. The Avenue Road team were diligent, professional and committed to matching our original chimneys. They gave us choices as to brick selection and worked continuously over a long weekend in very hot weather. The new chimneys are indistinguishable from the originals built over 100 years ago. I’m very pleased.

He worked with us from the start on the specifics of the work, explained the detail of what they were going to do, and he was in contact with us every step of the way. The two teams that did the work were friendly, polite and helpful in explaining what they were doing. This is a wonderful group of people - friendly, informative, efficient. The work done was as described and done extremely well. We would highly recommend this company. The clean up when the job was completed was amazing!

The four men from Avenue Road Masonry did an excellent job.
Very professional, tidy and courteous.
Our chimneys had popped a lot of bricks each winter over the last few years due to an incorrect chimney cap being used.
They totally rebuilt the top 11 courses of bricks and replaced the popped and soft bricks over both of our extremely tall chimneys.
Robert Grantham from Avenue Road Masonry, also arranged for the scaffolding company we used, that also did an outstanding job.

Chris was the gentleman that came by,very knowledge on what to do. The crew was very neat and professional. Awesome job. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

I got a few quotes on replacing some bricks on my chimney, all quotes were in around the same price, but Chris was the only one who actually got up onto the roof to inspect, take photos, and explain what needed to be done and all the options. He also showed me other issues that wouldn't have been found if he hadn't spent the time to properly look.
I'm so glad that I chose them. They are professional, personable, and just amazing to deal with.
The office called to schedule - team arrived - met the foreman - job was done as stated and explained that a second team would come at a later date to finish the flashing.
The night before they were scheduled to come, 120 km/h winds blew off a good 10% of my roof; I kind of jokingly send Chris a text that night asking if they could throw some extra shingles in their truck to do the roof as well. Well it was no joke - I had a call in the morning asking how much roof was gone so that they could bring enough shingles! Bobby showed up and spent more time fixing the roof then this original flashing job.
Chris showed up a few times to make sure that everything went well, address any concerns/questions, and to inspect the final product.
They have a customer for life. I will be using and recommending their services on all my homes.
I would give them an 11/10 if I could.
