I contacted Chris based on his positive reviews here and he certainly lived up to his great reputation!! He was polite on the phone, asked tons of questions so that he could come prepared with the right parts, was flexible in meeting my schedule, arrived on time, completed the repair very quickly and without making a mess! Best of all, he provided lots of tips and tricks to avoid similar problems in the future and also looked at my dishwasher free of charge! I AWESOME service and i would highly recommend him...it's nice to deal with a "professional".

Chris is very thorough. He does a fantastic job at fixing any of the appliance issues that we've had. I would call him for any future appliance repairs necessary and would refer him to anyone who needs help with their appliances. He does not rush and is very friendly.

We had 2 issues that had to be dealt with, one on the semi-urgent kind and one that was not so pressing. It seems the handle on our Kitchenaid range fell off and the door gasket on our front loading GE washer was mopldy. I called Chris after reading several revciews on various sites because he was in the area and got excellent reviews. I called on a Saturday and he was able to order the gasket that day for a Monday pick-up. He gave us a 2 hour window for the repair on Monday and was prompt. Not only did he fix the 2 issues quickly, neatly, and professionally, but gave us hints to prevent the problem from recurring. I found his price most reasonable and found Chris to be most personable. Chris from Uptown Appliance came on short notice (within the day) to look at our KitchenAid dishwasher and freezer, and knew exactly what had to be done.

He was honest & transparent with the pricing of the parts as well as a very competitive labour rate, particularly compared to the rates quoted by the manufacturer's authorized repairman.

Chris was AMAZING!! Over the phone I told him that my dryer, fridge and dishwasher were not working properly. After securing the part we needed we booked an appointment. He fixed the dryer, however the dishwasher and fridge were not worth the trouble. He spent at least a half hour on these appliances and did not charge me a penny when he should have. He told me he could fix it (needed new parts but explained that the parts and labor would cost the same as a new appliance). I have seen many, many repairmen come and go in my fifty something years, but I have never been so impressed with someone as I was with Chris. He is polite, clean and passionate about his business. He really goes the extra mile!!!! I would highly, highly recommend him!!!!!!!!
