The technician who came is an extremely pleasant fellow who took the time to discuss what he was going to do before he started. The job was done efficiently and quickly. He made sure that only the two trees were sprayed, and nothing else... he definitely knew what he was doing. He is an asset to your company. Bravo Rob!

We were provided with a fair estimate and the job was completed within a reasonable time frame. Questions we had as to whether the crew would be returning to tidy up unfinished work were promptly and personally addressed by Ian and the job was ultimately completed to our satisfaction.

Davey tree has trimmed and cabled our tree in past years and always done great work. After the last storm I noticed that a cable installed maybe 20 years ago had come down in the front yard. A few days ago I began to hear a new creaking sound in an area they had trimmed in 2019, so I called on a Friday afternoon to explain my concerns. Darren came on Monday morning to check on the tree, was equally concerned and registered us in for emergency attention to be done within the week.
Davey tree trimmers Dakota and Kiernen came with their bucket truck 3 days later to trim and cut back the perimeter of the crown, and then triangularly cable the large main branches.
Were grateful for the prompt response and service that was so needed for the survival of our tree. The work was done carefully and efficiently. As with earlier work done for us by Davey, the workers left a clean work site when they were finished. I would highly recommend the tree services of this company. We recently had a maple tree removed, several trees pruned and cedars trimmed. Taylor and Tyler did a fantastic job of cutting and trimming while carefully working around our perennial gardens. They cleaned up everything afterwards. Altogether a great job.

Last week, we had Davey Tree Service in to remove a huge Maple that was unfortunately damaged. We made the right choice as after the removal the damage was evident. I work in Health and Safety and the individuals who our tree were professional, explained everything and most importantly safe!!!! Huge shout out to Alex and Joel from the Carp location. Great guys, funny, safe and a pleasure to have around for this important work. I would definitely recommend Davey to anyone and if they are really fortunate, Alex and Joel will be the ones do the work. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Alex and Joel and to all at Davey for taking care of this problem for us. Not often these days is service exceptional, but Davey has it!

We recently had our privet hedge cut back hard to rejuvenate it. The job entailed more than the Davey staff expected, and they willingly came back a second time to cut more. They were friendly, professional, tidy, and we are very satisfied with the results. We have hired them on several occasions and will continue to do so.

Have 4 large pine trees that needed trimming (from 1" to 8" diameter branches) as well as a maple tree that needed a major trunk to be removed. Arborist was out within two days of submitting my request for quote. Received quote a few days later including verification of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation coverage. One of the pine trees was city property and the application process took a little longer than expected including a visit to my home by city inspector. Crew (2, one senior, one junior) showed up at 8:30am and was gone by 12:30pm. The senior guy (who was doing all the trimming and tree climbing) continually asked if everything was ok and if I wanted any more to be done as he worked through all four trees. Clean up was fantastic (removal of branches, raking of pine needles and blowing off my driveway of all remaining debris) and left my property just as it was prior to work .
Very professional and courteous and did an excellent job.

Hamed and Nick did an exceptional job cutting down our 35 year old maple. They worked quickly and efficiently and did an excellent clean up job. We would not hesitate to recommend Davey Tree.

Let's start with the bad. They arrived just after 7:00AM with no notice the day before, as quoted. No big deal. The poplar hug over our roof & skylights, so it had to go. Alex did a thorough evaluation, while a tiny Brittany set up the equipment. Pilons were placed over some of our emerging perrenials for protection and the tree was systematically dismantled piece by piece. Care was taken to make as little damage to the gardens & especially our new deck. The tree was down, through the chipper, the street & tree site cleaned in about 2 hours. This was my third tree removal by Davey Tree Service. I give this, & former crews top marks for efficiency & courtesy.

I hired Davey tree service to trim a large maple in my yard. The day they came, a torrential downpour started shortly after they arrived and they understandably decided to stop because of the rain. I was told to call the office to reschedule the remainder. I never signed off on the job because it wasn't complete. I called the office and was initially told I had to pay extra for them to come back and finish the job! I increased my review because they eventually came back and the end result was good...but I felt I shouldn't have had to go through the hassle to get them to finish the original job at the original price.
