First off I found them on Kijiji I was unable to find a registered business in the name listed but it appears that they have been doing installs for a while and did not see any postings about them. I spoke to SAM about coming out to install a couple of sommer (german) openers as they had ads which specifically had the unit(s) I wanted. Since I am in Milton and they supposedly in Markham (no actual address is given) and I am at home all day come out when you are out this way and save some fuel and time. So they called and came out a couple of days later bringing with them the 2 units and installed them despite the freezing weather. The units have been working fine for several months and Sam (not his real/full name?) and his father Abraham? had some issues with how some things should be done (imagine a Father and Son not agreeing) but were friendly civil and professional I would assume as I don't understand Arabic (they are of Lebanese descent) about the only issues were some minor mistakes (holes drilled in wrong location) but were patched up without issue and that they left me to clean up everything after paying them which I should have ensured they did before giving them the cash, (I believe their only payment method) and was finding staples several months after, luckily none of them found a tire. I normally don't deal with this type of untraceable/unregistered operator but overrode that based on the fact that they appeared to have the most experience installing the sommer which really is not that much different in it's installation but the programming and adjustments take time as well and they were very quick and both and my gut instinct of the type of person SAM was based my telephone conversation. I recommend using a licensed, insured etc. business but if you go with this Father and Son team I think you will be fine and sometimes a known is better than not.
