Liberty Security

After reviewing a few different companies, decided to have Liberty come take a look at our system as we were in the market to upgrade our current set up. After filling out the request form online, got a call from Khaled Taliani who scheduled an appointment at a time that suited me.

Here is what set Liberty apart form everyone else. Khaled did a comprehensive review of my system and tried to leverage my existing set up as much as he could to save me any unnecessary costs. Some of the other quotes that we got constantly tried to up sell us on the equipment or bash other service providers. Khaled simply explained how their system worked and backed up any suggestions he made with concrete facts and examples.

Additionally, after we signed up I have received a few follow up calls from Liberty's service center just making sure that I was happy with the service that we were receiving. Their after sale service is top notch and that was important for me if I was signing a 36 month contract with them.

Overall would recommend these guys without any reservation. They have a top notch product and a great team.

We've been wanting to invest in a home security system for a while and then friends of ours had their house broken into so we felt like we should consider a system right away. I did some research, talked to some friends and called two companies. One of the companies was Liberty. I was connected to Edmonton where they took my information and said someone would get right back to me. That's the point where Liberty started to make perfect sense. I was very fortunate they connected me with Tyler Harris here in Calgary. Right from the beginning Tyler provided me with exceptional customer service. He was able to come to my house within an hour of us talking and walk through all of the products and services Liberty has to offer. He made solid recommendations. And even though the initial cost was higher than I expected he made sure I understood why and what we were getting. Tyler was very accommodating and returned to provide me with a thorough quote on my schedule. I wasn't an easy customer. I asked a lot of questions and really grilled Tyler. He responded with respectful, appropriate and prompt responses. He really went above and beyond. He was able to book an installer promptly (for that evening or three days later). The install went well. All told from the initial phone call to up and running was four days!!! Perfect. Also, it's important to note that the installer walked through the entire system with us to make sure we understood all of the aspects. That being said, the system is exceptionally easy to use. Very impressive service. I would highly recommend Tyler Harris and his team. If you are looking for an alarm company/service and you value exceptional customer service then look no further. A close friend of ours, Khalid from Liberty Security suggested their services when we moved into our new townhouse.
I have to say the service has been really good. Khalid really explained in details our options as customers and made us understand how the system works. The technician was really knowledgeable and took his time to ensure the product is working properly.

The staff have treated me with complete respect. They came to assess my property and gave me a solid explanation of potential areas of break in and the best way to prevent such from happening, and to ensure my safety if anything were to happen. I feel completely safe with this system.
The only downside is that liberty is slightly more expensive then other security systems out there.

I contacted 4 Security Companies for quotes to install a new system in my home. 2 were quite shady, and 1 did nothing but put down the competition consistently. Liberty sales representative I had the pleasure dealing with was Doug Stebner, he was very personalable and knowledgeable about there product. Very patient with all my questions and concerns, no matter what time day or night he responded quickly to my emails, and believe me there were many, but Doug took the time to either reply to my emails or just contact me by phone.
He didn't use pressure tactics to make the sale just good ol honest hard work. I felt comfortable dealing with Doug and wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone even my family. The appointment for installation was quick and Nathan was very professional during the installation and had no problem showing us how to use the system. The equipment used is good quality, we have had the alarm system for a month now, with no problems or false alarms. The mobile phone App to arm, disarm and monitor the security system is easy to use and informative. What else could you ask for.
We had a very good experience with Liberty Alarm.

I contacted Liberty for a competitive bid /quote on a specific system , with optional upgrades. There offering was equipment and price yet the sales rep was quick to upgraded the key pad option to a higher standard when requested. Our home has wireless control from our hand held devices which we especially like. The sales staff was accurate in the estimation of timing to install, availability of installation technicians and the ability to install without running cables and drilling holes everywhere.

After we had the system for a month we asked for additional lights to be placed on the security system, the sales rep lived up to his word and sent the same technician that did the original install and again the service was prompt, accurate and on budget.

We also had a follow up call to ensure we were happy with the work , the system and the service by the Liberty team.

The system has been operational for a few months now and we have had experienced a few calls from the Alarm company on items like 'low battery warning', false alarms due to owner error - the Alarm center was professional , accommodating and helpful.

I have had alarm systems in multiple cities and to date I would say the Liberty team in Calgary has done exceptional work in ensuring our home is protected and we feel supported in having what we need.

As we continue to upgrade our system in the years to come I am confident we will continue to have good service and results from Cole and his team.

We had a bad experience with Liberty, we chose them on the basis of reviews at home stars.

We signed up on the basis of the plans we saw on their website, we got a really good price for thier best plan.
However, later we found that there was a mismatch in what was listed and being supplied, there was not enough clarity on the plans and equipments they'll provide if a customer already had some hard-wired equipments already installed at their place. There were product compatibility issues with Smart Thermostat and some options which we were told will be available but later denied. Sales, Installation and Customer Service had different versions of plans and not sure about what's included and what's not.

Bad experiences with Sales and Installation people led us to cancel the services. We had to do some effots to get the refund.

Update:
I really appreciate the efforts from Liberty Customer Service to resolve the issue, after our review on homestars. It makes me believe that our experience was an one odd incident with them, the customer service is really efficient and they do care. Even though they knew we're not going to continue with their services. We got our refund, an empathy call and few follow-ups and a personalized holiday card which really left a positive experience about the company. Thanks to Cortney!

My wife and I recently chose Liberty Security for our Home alarm system. Everything from the initial walkthrough at our home, to installation was top notch, efficient and professional. All of my questions have been answered quickly. The system itself works great, and the App has been very convenient to control the system remotely. I would not hesitate to recommend Liberty if you're looking for security for your home!

I recently had a security system installed by Liberty and have been very pleased with their service. Doug Stebner was the sales person I dealt with and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Liberty was charging a little bit more than some other companies I received quotes from but Doug clearly explained the differences and the added value that Liberty brings to their customers, and I am glad I listened. They are well worth the money for anyone considering getting a security system. In my opinion Liberty is the only option.

I have been looking into security systems for the past few years now and have been hesitant up until now. I have read reviews, talked to the door to door sales guys and have not been happy with anything that I have seen, up until now. A few weeks ago I came across a rep for Liberty Home Security, Adam Williams. We had a good conversation and I invited him to my home for a quote.

With all the sales guys I have had in my home for home security along with the reviews I have read, this was the first time I have ever experienced such a professional and non - threatening discussion. I was not put under pressure in any way to purchase right now or had a limited time offer like I have had with other companies. I was simply given my options of what was suggestion for protection for my home along with additional equipment if it was in my interest. In the end of our meeting I felt as though the Liberty rep was there for the interest in my home and family safety. I was reassured with 100% support from Liberty while I had their equipment at no additional costs.

I was left with a good feeling with the company but did not jump to the conclusion until the install was actually complete. The tech arrived a few days later. We discussed where all the sensors were to be installed as per the suggestions from my sales rep. The install went smooth and clean.

Over the next few days I had been on a few phone calls as there is a bit to understand with the system and training involved. Every time I called in I was given the support and training I requested and my issues were resolved. I am still fine tuning and familiarizing myself with the system as I did get a few upgrades in my system which still ended up being cheaper than the competitors.

I apologize for the long winded message, but I just wanted to let people know out there that are looking into house security, please give Liberty a shot. They are at a 4.5 star rating with excellent reviews. The bonus was that the sales rep is local here to Beaumont and can be contacted anytime where I found others are transients that come in just to make a quick sale.

Security hardware is relatively the same everywhere. Its the sales and customer service that really support a company and finally I found a company that has that. Thank you Liberty.
