Simple Solutions Landscaping & Snow Removal

I used Simple Solutions for 2 years. They laid new sod in our backyard and damaged my front yard grass in the process. They did our snow removal and damaged our flagstone front porch. The owner, Brian promised to do appropriate repairs but never did! When asking him about these issues he would often get angry about my asking. Wife was not comfortable with Brain in the condescending way he would talk to her. We have parted ways, thanks to Brian, who decided to breach our signed contract and said go find someone else !!
If that is the way you would like to be treated, Simple Solutions is your landscape company !!!!
Do I recommendation for this company? NIO, NO, NO

We are extremely happy with the work done by Simple Solutions Landscaping. We hired them to help us with a large flower bed where we had invasive species growing in between our good perennials. Dimitra and the crew worked efficiently and fast and completed the job in about 3 hours. We will continue to hire Simple Solutions for our garden needs and we will recommend them to our friends and family.

I will start with the positives:
- They are priced very competitively
- IN THE SUMMER they come every week and mostly on the week day that they have scheduled for you
The negatives:
- I think (and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt) they have taken more contracts than they are equipped to handle. The quality and punctuality of their work has been declining consistently since 3 years ago when I started with them. During one of the snow storms, they got to us 20h after and during the last storm they got to us at midnight. I missed a Dr.s appointment and had to clear the driveway myself ... which did not help the shoulder pain that I was going to the Dr. for.
- When you call them, you are connected to a call centre that doesn't know anything about anything and is basically a voicemail with human emotions. During the last storm when we called and asked them to come help us sooner because of the Dr.'s appointment, they were very dismissive and rude, and basically told us that everyone needs help and that they were gonna hang up on us ( and no we were not rude to them in any shape of form)
- As for lawn maintenance, I have had to reseed areas of my lawn MULTIPLE times because they decided to mow the lawn using the big machine that you ride on after 3 days of rain ( you are suppose to use the lightest machine to avoid pulling out chunks of the lawn)

These people clean one backyard and blow all garbage to the backyards around. They don't think too much, just rush-rush- rush. Then you have a lot of problems with your neighbors. Don't recommend this company for cleaning your backyards and gardens.

I needed a quick turn around on a full yard cleanup. Dimita and Simple Solutions came to the rescue. She was quick to respond, provide a quote, and complete the job. It was a large job, and took several hours. I was impressed with the efficiency and hard work that went into getting the job done. In early Summer we decided to have our front lawn replaced and some shrubs planted. This was just a small job. Simple Solutions Landscaping promptly replied to our inquiry. Brian came to see the site and provided the estimate. We asked to have the project done in Fall. It was completed in mid September as planned. We are very pleased with the work done and the attention paid to the details. We recommended this company to our neighbor. We appreciate the honesty and good working ethics.

Simple Solutions helped us rebuild our garden which included grading, sodding and creating ten beds at varying heights. Brian took the time to understand our vision, which was complex. He checked with us after each stage to make sure that he was achieving our plans and he preserved as much as possible the existing garden plants. I found him to be professional, responsive and a clear communicator who understood that a garden is more than a landscaping “job”. I would not for a second hesitate to hire Simple Solutions again.
