The owner of Summit Stone Masonry LTD is the most unprofessional and unethical contractor we have ever encountered. I would actually go as far as defining this individual as a con artist in every meaning of the word. Please DO NOT hire Summit Stone Masonry and DO NOT believe a word that comes out of their mouth. He does not tell the truth, manipulates and in the end simply takeos the consumer's money without having worked for
it. We have hired Summit Stone Masonry to complete the exterior
masonry work on our newly constructed house. They asked us for a substantial deposit before commencing the work. This was a major red flag
as we have NEVER been asked for a deposit by any of the honest contractors we have worked with in the past before the start of their work. Unfortunately, against our better judgement, we paid the deposit amounting to thousands of dollars trusting that we have hired an honorable and competent professional. The work never started and the contractor kept coming up with one excuse after another as to why he is delayed. We have finally communicated to Corey that we no longer wish to work with him as he has proven to be completely unreliable and caused a significant
delay in the completion of our project. We asked for a refund of the deposit to which he initially agreed; however, we have not received
one cent of the thousands of dollars we have paid him to date. After the Court has ruled that they owe us the money and must refund it to us, they disappeared.
