Sky Kitchen Cabinets assigned Modern Design Kitchen and Baths to be the General Contractors for our total kitchen renovation. How lucky for us that they did! Raja and Mo are organized, and highly skilled, and are also very nice gentlemen to deal with. After removing the old kitchen, including removing the over-sized bulkheads and floor tiles, they prepared the space for the new cabinets. As well as plumbing and installing some appliances, they coordinated the quality subcontractors who were Tristar Marble, tilers Greg and Dominic and the electrician, Surjit. Raja always called to confirm dates and times so we knew what the next step would be in the project. We highly recommend these professionals!

Modern Design Kitchens came to us through Sky Kitchens, as our General Contractor. Raja and Moe did such an amazing job, as did all the trades he brought in. They are hard working, dedicated, and meticulous. In everything they do, they go above and beyond. We absolutely love our kitchen, thanks guys !!

Raja from Modern Design Kitchen and Bath was contracted by our cabinet supplier when we decided to reno our 1990's kitchen and main floor powder room. He and his team handled the full demo and debris removal, all our new floor tile and backsplash work, reinstalled/re-fit the plumbing and re-did the drywall and ceiling. Great work all around-they showed up when they said they would, and completed the work on time and within budget!! We highly recommend Raja and his team and wouldn't hesitate to use them again- Thanks again Raja!

We recently redid our kitchen with Sky Kitchen and Raja at Modern Design Kitchen and Bath acted as our contractor for the project.

Throughout the project, Raja was professional, skilled and, drawing on his expertise, helped solve anticipated problems before they occurred. When any additional issues arose, he was quick to give us a variety of options that were cost-effective and in sync with the overall design of the kitchen.

As a couple who had never undertaken any major projects to their home, a big motivator in choosing a contractor was to feel like we were in “good hands”: someone who would listen to what we wanted, but guide us based on their experience of what works and what doesn’t; someone who would execute our vision, but mitigate/minimize any issues (which are bound to happen on any renovation); and someone who, at the end of the day, we trusted would complete the project on time and to our level of satisfaction.

To anyone who is currently where my wife and I were - sifting through references and companies, who may be nervous about the substantial financial commitments of a reno and then not getting what they want - Raja and his team will deliver what they promise, on time, and for the agreed upon budget.

Raja and Mo did a great job renovating our kitchen. They are highly knowledgeable, efficient, reliable, punctual, and very easy to work with. The subcontractors they provided for the tile and electrical work were excellent. Suggestions Raja made contributed significantly to our final design. From stripping the room back to the bare studs through to the finished kitchen, Raja stuck closely to his schedule and budget. There was a short delay getting our electrical panel upgraded but that was caused by the power utility, not by Raja or the electrical contractor. Working closely with Sky Kitchen Cabinets and Cambria Countertops, Raja and Mo produced a finished kitchen worthy of being shown in magazines. We have proudly shown our new kitchen to friends and neighbours, and they have been very impressed.

We recently had our kitchen renovated by Modern Design Kitchen and Bath.
From the beginning we were impressed by the professionalism of Raja and his brother Mo. They are a great team who are exceptionally talented, professional warm and personable. As with many kitchen renovations it turned into a much larger project and in the end we undertook a complete ground floor makeover including kitchen, family room, sitting room and powder room. Raja was flexible and accommodating as the project evolved and he was willing to move at our pace without sacrificing efficiency or quality. He seamlessly engaged and coordinated all the trades and It was evident throughout that his leadership is respected and admired by each of the trades. In addition to managing and coordinating the project, Raja and Mo did the demolition, construction and carpentry work. They take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of the finish. They also left the site in a safe and clean manner every day. We are grateful to them for transforming our kitchen and ground floor into what feels like a new home after over 20 years in the same house. I will happily recommend them and will engage them again for future work.

I got to meet Raja and his brother through Sky Kitchen Cabinets in Mississauga. From day 1 to the very end Raja and his brother were very professional. They have such a huge experience of all kind of work in the house that they solve issues in minutes. We had issue with our kitchen exhaust with the property management and Raja was the one who confidently convinced the management and did it right way. It was a 4 week reno for our kitchen and bathroom and there were many occasions where Raja could have taken shortcut and do the job but he preferred to do it right way even though it took slightly longer.Like others have said here, they don’t charge or even ask for any money for getting small things done around the house. All these weeks they worked they were never late and coordinated with electrician and tile guy and everyone else so well that not a single day was wasted. I strongly recommend them for any kind of reno work at home. I am so excited to have met them and all my future contracts are going directly to them. Thank you so much Raja and his brother. You guys rock!

Raja came recommended and now I know why. Very professional and experienced. He was always on time or would call if running late. He was always available to call or would return my call quickly. It was refreshing that when any issues came up he had a solution or he knew who to call. He completed the job as we agreed and didn't hesitate when I needed a few extra things done. He even came back to care of a few small things a month after the job was complete! Thanks Raj,a my wife and I love the kitchen!!

Raja & his brother Mo were the contractors we had do the framing and prep work for our Kitchen reno with Sky Kitchens. Raja always took his time to go over what needed to be done and answered all my questions and concerns. He would provide multiple options and wouldn't nickel & dime over the small items necessary. Job included:
- preparing walls for cabinets and tile
- Cutting & framing for oven insert into wall
- Framing for stone fire place
- Some plumbing
- Some appliance installs

Raja was always on time, and would communicate well prior, during and after the job was done. This was a big plus, since our Electrical and Granite companies with Sky Kitchens were the complete opposite.

Overall Raja and Mo were a pleasant experience and I would recommend them.
