The team at Modern Design did a fantastic job working on our kitchen renovation project. Very efficient, responsive and accommodating to our requests. Speed combined with quality, we were very pleased and our kitchen turned out even better than we expected.

This review is long, long overdue. About this time last year, we were talking about remodelling our kitchen. After weeks of sourcing out a kitchen company, we finally made our choice, and we couldn’t be happier. The kitchen company referred us to the most fantastic contractor, Raja from Modern Design. Raja and his brother Mo came out to our house within a few days to discuss the plan. Raja worked with us to understand what we wanted. He was very accommodating with each step of the project and was able to switch designs as we realized what we wanted. He also suggested modifications which went well with our plans. The choosing of flooring was the most difficult of the entire project. When we weren’t sure the color to choose, we asked the advice of Raja and Mo. Whatever their choice would be our choice. The Modern Design tradesmen were fantastic as well, all very professional, neat, attentive to detail and accommodating from start to finish. We couldn’t have made a better choice. These guys went above and beyond, making our experience one that we’ll never forget. Not only did these guys do the job they were hired to do, but they also went above and beyond, from helping hang our TV to shoveling snow in our driveway. Raja and his team are AMAZING. We are so happy with our new functional main floor. I hope we’ll be fortunate to have Raja and his team do future reno’s for us. Raja and his team were absolutely amazing for the duration of our kitchen install. From dismantling our old kitchen, to installation (plumbing, tile work, electrical etc.), Raja and his team were wonderful. They provided manageable timelines, communicated any delays and went above and beyond for us. I cannot say enough good things about the entire team. So polite, so professional, and just the best service I have ever received. I will definitely be using them again for our next project and would recommend them to anyone.

This was our second project handled by Raja and Mo. In each case, they explained the project, provided a time table for each phase of the project, and crucially, stuck to the timetable and price, without any delays. The work was done diligently, efficiently and professionally. Raja was always there in the event something went wrong and also to asisst in the small forgotten things. And always with a smile on his face. We were extremely pleased with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him and his crew.

Honest, fair, knowledgeable, reliable, hard-working, patient, are some of the qualities you would want in a contractor, and this is what you get with this company. Raja, Mo, and his crew, including the electricians Sucha and his team, did a terrific job with our main floor renovation. Nothing was too much to ask of them. They did our kitchen, working hand in hand with Sky Kitchens, main floor powder room, and laundry room - demolition and installation in a timely and efficient manner. The best part was: the price quoted was the price paid - no surprise costs popped up even though they did some extras for us! Highly recommend this company!

This is our second project with Raja and Mo as our general contractors. They are highly experienced and are able to troubleshoot any problems that arise during the work. These guys did a fantastic job!! I had a complete kitchen demolition and rebuild done. The demolition was quick and neatly done, and the rebuild was exactly what I wanted. Raja was a great guy and went out of his way to get everything done. I would HIGHLY recommend Modern Design.

Modern Design Kitchem and Bath did an excellent job in the demolition of our first floor to the studs, including the ceiling. We were impressed with the workmanship as they reconfigured our new space (a wall was removed) putting up insulation, drywall, subfloor, electrical, plumbing, etc. We now have a beautiful new kitchen, powder room, library and living room. You can't find two nicer and trustworthy guys than Raja and Mo who are experts in their field. We were surprised at how quickly the job was completed. Raja consistently checked in with us to confirm that our needs and expectations were met and he always returned our phone calls promptly. Any work that he sub contracted out (crown moulding, electrical) was done by professionals who were respectful and good at their work. Thank you Raja and Mo!

Raja was our contractor for a kitchen renovation.
He and his team did an excellent job, from the demolition, to the plumbing, electrical and tiling. I always knew who was coming to my house and when, and what was being done. Raja was always in communication with me and took all my calls right away, answering any questions or problems that I had. Also he gave me some great advice when it came time to make some tough decisions. All his crew took the time to clean up every day when they finished too. It's very hard to live through a kitchen renovation, but what makes it easier is knowing exactly what is happening and seeing the work get done in a timely manner.
I would strongly recommend Raja and his team for any kitchen or bathroom renovation that you might looking to do. You will not be disappointed.
