After 26 years with a furnace getting older and more inefficient we decided to replace it. We called Thompson Industries, received prompt, friendly and informative service. It was a pleasure to do business with them. Our new furnace is a gem and the house is definitely warmer!

Thompson Industries was recommended by a co-worker, and we're glad they did. From meeting with Bruce, to having the tech complete the installation, and speaking with Joan in the office, it was a very pleasant and professional experience. We couldn't be happier with our new furnace. We will definitely contact them for future projects, and highly recommend them to everyone.

Bruce was a persistent salesman, they installed the furnace and air conditioner promptly and neatly. The furnace is working great, not the season for the air conditioner, but when they tested it, it was very quiet.
This was the best price, we checked out two other companies.

Our nearly 30 year old furnace needed replacing and Thomson came in with the most reasonable quote, and adjusted their schedule to get us slotted in as early as possible. The rep, Rob, was easy to deal with and provided a very detailed description of the work needed to be done.

We went with the Daikin 2-Stage model and it is running wonderfully. I can't believe the difference in how quiet it is compared to the old one and the house heats up a great deal faster than before.

Mostly, I cannot say enough about how great our installer, Drew, was. He was prompt, courteous, and meticulous. The installation looks incredible, especially given the somewhat cramped space and old building constraints that he had to deal with. It looks far more tidy than before. Drew went beyond our expectations. After installing the chimney liner (on a very slippery roof), he set up the electrical connection for the unit as good as any electrician I've seen, including running a new line for the thermostat (this is coming from a guy who's father was a career residential electrician), custom fit all the sheet metal work so that everything fit perfectly and fixed a leak in the back of the heating riser off the furnace that must have been there for years. The piping he ran for exhaust and air intake is top notch, as is the drain pump hosing. To top it off, he did a great job of cleaning up. Drew is an excellent installer!

We purchased a Daikin furnace heater from Bruce about a year ago. He sure is a good salesman as he was able to convince us to get it from him instead of a competitor. Not only was he a good salesman, but he also gave us good customer service by referring us to their best repair manager, Jayme.
The furnace created a loud noise in our laundry room & family room when it was installed. Jayme did not quit sending his best installers until the noise had been resolved.
They also took care of our government rebate. So far, the heater is
working good. I had actually recommended them also to one of my co-worker who actually got them to service their furnace. Thank you all! Keep up your good work, honesty and integrity.

The fellow was professional, efficient and explained what he was doing. Did a great job changing the filter in my air conditioner and servicing it. I'd definitely call them again.

& they did the rest. Bruce came over & gave us an accurate quote. The man knows his stuff & is very personable.
Dave looked after the installation. We could not have asked for a better craftsman. He is knowledgeable, experienced, meticulous

Thomson was the best value after three quotes. Salesperson was very knowledgeable. Rob answered all of my questions on a later phone call and we awarded Thomson the work. Installation techs showed up on schedule and performed the work very well and quickly. Installation was completed in one day or less. Electrician was a sub-contract. Good guy but had to work fast and then depart due to family emergency. I would have requested the wiring be done in a slightly different manner. The electrical work that was done was ok but not perfect. This should not reflect poorly on Thomson. The unit works great and cools the house effectively. Our comfort has gone way up. The up-sell of maintenance was low key. The warranty is what I would consider best in industry. 12 years complete! 16SEER unit at 2 tonnes. I would recommend this contractor to anyone needing heating or air conditioning work. Good people to work with.
