Duct Sealing

We are very happy with the work you did on our home. We’ve lived in our house for over 5 years and this is the first winter that we’ve been cozy! The heat is even throughout the entire house and every room is comfortable. I only wish we had gotten this done this sooner. The workers were very knowledgeable and friendly. A big thanks goes out to you and your team for solving our airflow issues.

Duct Cleaning & Sealing

We had our ductwork cleaned and sealed with Aeroseal Solutions and couldn't be happier with the results. Our sons room above the garage has always been colder than the rest and we'd even replaced our furnace a few years ago thinking it would solve the problem but it didn't. When we came across this process on Ask this Old House we knew we had to give it a try. There was a big difference in airflow once they were done and we're happy to say that the room isn't the coldest room upstairs anymore. The crew was very careful as they had several large pieces of equipment and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. They exceeded our expectations and we've already recommended them to a few of our neighbors. Keep up the great work!

Duct Sealing

We are very pleased with the results of our duct sealing and wish we knew about the service sooner. We had our heating/cooling systems replaced 10 years ago but still were not able to heat/cool the 1st and 2nd floors adequately. The room above the garage was freezing in the winter. Since the duct sealing we are getting great airflow from the ducts! The crew was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this company!

I had Aeroseal Solutions clean and seal the ductwork in my home last year due to an issue with a really cold room above our garage. Thelak did a great job of answering my questions and explained the entire process from start to finish. He mentioned that they get this issue often and that sealing the ductwork was the best way to fix it. He reassured me that they've had clients who have tried everything else (new furnace, attic insulation, new windows) with no success but sealing the ductwork is what made the difference. Based on this I decided to go ahead and book an appointment. They arrived on time and after taking a quick look around got straight to work. They had quite a bit of equipment but they made sure to put down drop clothes. They blocked off the vents and started the cleaning process while rest of the equipment was being set up in the basement. Once the cleaning was done they moved onto the sealing. The pre-test came back with 220 CFM of leakage which was equal to a 42 square inch hole. During the seal there was some light fogging on the first floor which they said was normal since that was the way the sealant worked. Once they were done they printed off a certificate that let me know they were able to bring down the leakage to 20 CFM. Right away I could feel that there was definitely more air coming through the registers in that room. I was told it would take 24-48 hours for everything to cure. It's been several months since then and I can say that the room is still much warmer now and the whole house feels a lot more comfortable. I'm anxious to see how much cooler it will be once summer heat hits and we go to turn on the AC. I've referred a few people to them already and will continue to do so. Thank you for providing such a great service!

“I contacted Aeroseal Solutions to help me with one of the rooms in our home that’s been extremely cold this winter. It was meant to be used as a home office. Layering up and space heaters weren't doing the trick and becoming inconvenient.

On the day of the job they laid down runners for the walkways and drop down cloths for their equipment. Everything was very well organized and they took great care to get everything down into the basement due to our narrow stairway. They blocked off all the registers and ran their diagnostic test. As it turns out our home was leaking 389 CFM. They were very confident that they could bring it down and surely enough they were able to bring it down to just 40 CFM.

Once they were finished they dismantled the equipment and cleaned up the work areas. When we fired up the furnace and went back to that room the improvement in the amount of airflow coming out of that register was amazing. I can’t wait to start making use of the office again, without the space heaters and extra layers of course. Thanks for a job well done!”

We had a room that was too hot in the summer and has been especially cold this winter which was making it very uncomfortable for our daughter. We tried many different alternatives to fix this issue and turned to using space heaters to keep the temperature up, but found that it was starting to aggravate our daughter’s eczema. We tried the manual DIY method with aluminum tape but found that it made no difference at all. A friend of ours had their house sealed by Aeroseal Solutions and recommended them to us. At first we were concerned about the solution being used in the sealing process but Roger provided us with the MSDS sheet and handled our concerns with great care. He even sent us some case studies of its uses in hospitals and medical facilities which made us feel more comfortable. We decided to get it done and we’re so glad we did and only wish that we had gotten it done sooner. There is no longer a need for space heaters and our daughter can now sleep comfortably in her room. The rest of the house feels warmer as well. It also seems like we have less dust accumulating around the house which is an added bonus. I would recommend Aeroseal Solutions to anyone looking to have their ducts sealed.

We recently had the ducts in our home sealed with Aeroseal Solutions and have finally been able to fix the troublesome cold room in our house. No matter what we did the heat from the furnace just didn’t seem reach the rooms furthest from the furnace. I tried everything to resolve this issue from taping up visible holes, caulking around windows and even replacing the furnace but nothing worked. While online I came across a segment regarding hot and colds rooms on the Marilyn Dennis Show, where they showed the Aeroseal system being used to solve this same problem. I decided to give them a call and we setup an appointment to have them come out and do the tests. Our home had a surprising 226 CFM of leakage so we decided to get the seal done. They were able to bring it down to only 10 CFM which was a 96 % reduction in leakage. The improvement in airflow at the registers was the most impressive part of it though. I’ve never felt that much air come out of those registers before. I’ve also noticed that my furnace runs less frequently now which should also help me see some savings on my utility bills. I can’t wait to see how much of a difference it makes come summer when we start to run the air conditioner. Thank you Aeroseal Solutions for making a difference in our home and resolving this issue once and for all!
