I made my review anonymous purely because I fear violent repercussions.
I paid $1500 for a job which was not done properly. The paint was peeling after several weeks - the wall was not prepped properly which has been confirmed by other contractors. Calls were evaded and excuses made. His language was abusive and threatening.
I was doing renovations for an investment property and had already started painting the main floor. Decided to subcontract the upstairs. Work was done quickly and left without completing the full job. Upon inspection, was not happy with the job as the work I did was better and im not even a painter. Called and he complained that the money was not even worth it and he does not do prices for this low. Apparently its not worth it for him to send a guy to finish the one room he forgot to do in the first place so if i could add more work to make it worth while for him. I made the mistake of reluctantly agreeing. The problem was because its a investment property im not always there which i reckon is my mistake. Once he came to finish mind u after weeks of delays and multiple excuses, i went for inspection again paint marks on floor door handles ceilings that u can see were tried to be wiped off. Bringing up my complaints he said all you do is complain followed by insulting my place, using offensive language and hung up. I ended up having to complete the work myself. Would never recommend ever again and will be advising better BBB.
WORST customer service ever. Delayed job for over 3 weeks then stated it was not worth his time to come back out to complete another portion of the kitchen for a discounted price after paying $2000.00 for the rest of the kitchen. Job was not thorough, missing second coats in certain sections. Would NOT recommend.
The most unprofessional, rude and apathetic quasi “painters” I have ever had the displeasure to encounter! Consistently late, left material everywhere and even went so far as to literally paint a cupboard shut. When my elderly mother had questions regarding the job, Joe would periodically and in an aggressive manner reassure her that he was a “professional”- a professional would never take money and leave a job incomplete, bully a senior and damage furniture.
Avoid at all cost. Advising the Better Business Bureau.
Joe Lambert was very professional, took his time to identify little items that's made a significant difference. They were clean, on time and did little add on s we requested for a very reasonable price. We will use Lambert again and recommend them to all our friends.
