The words I would like to use to describe the fireplace service from Heatsafe today: prompt, reliable, thorough, and friendly. Bill arrived on time and set out his supplies promptly. He described the work which needed to be completed and the repair required. He discussed concerns from a safety standpoint and also polished up the fireplace after he was done. He definitely has my recommendation for great service!

Couldn't figure out our fireplace. Ended up being the switch. Bill came and cleaned it up, painted it and put in a new switch. Be explained to me how to use it and what he was doing. Thank you!

Bill came and inspected my fireplace. He was extremely professional and really enjoyed explaining things that helped me to understand the maintenance that my gas fireplace needs. He replaced the worn out switch and also touched up the black paint as an extra service. Then we spoke about options for making my fireplace a bit better. In the end he installed a fan and explained how I can use my fireplace to help heat my home at a lower cost than using the furnace. He was very tidy and ensured to clean up any mess that was created. I would definitely recommend him and am in fact passing his contact info to my condo board.

Bill is the fourth dude I called, and the only one able to provide a solution to my broken indoor gas fireplace. Other larger companies said it was unfixable, "you need a new fireplace" or "you'll have to do some non-legal rebuild, we can't help you". Numbers thrown around varied from $4000 to $10,000 with tiles being pulled, renovations threatened.

The current fireplace is from a now defunct indoor fireplace company, thanks to the junk computerized gas valves they put in them (can't mention it on this site for some reason). If you have one of these, or a similar issue, give Bill Luke a call, he'll sort you out for $1100 and get a conversion done for ya. This included new remote system, wiring harness, gas control valve, pilot setup. The conversion setup works differently, but is more reliable. Bill also included a full and thorough cleaning of the entire fireplace, paint touch up on faded or flaking paint areas. The thing looks brand new again, works great. The conversion is fully guaranteed parts and labor 1 year and does not fall under modification (because all the internal gas control and pilot parts are replaced with one of the original three parts manufacturers of this particular fireplace). And bonus is it won't fail again. Fully satisfied and happy customer here. Totally professional. Need more dudes like him.

Did I mention Bill threw in a free fireplace wall switch to replace the old oxidized one? This dude is standup. Drop him a line, you won't be disappointed. Love my old new fireplace - I missed it. Thanks bro.

We originally had another company look at our broken fireplace. They told us it couldn't be repaired and we needed to replace the entire unit at a cost of $3,500 or more. Luckily a friend recommended we get a second opinion from Heatsafe. Less than an hour after arriving Bill had the fireplace repaired and working, and even painted and cleaned up all of the interior! He also walked us through some home heating tips for running both the fireplace and our home furnace while we heat our home. All of this for the same price it cost us to have the original company look at the unit (and do nothing)!

We are extremely satisfied with the quality of service from Heatsafe. Would (and will) highly recommend to anyone.

Bill answered our request quickly. He arrived on time and was instantly in to finding the problem. He went over and above and not only fixed the problem but also cleaned the whole fireplace and even repainted the inside. The fireplace now looks brand new!!
