Horrendous!
This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. All was good when I booked them but as soon as I made an insurance claim, the song and dance began.
Rule number one, no phone calls, only emails! they claim with email they have a paper trail when truth is, they can ignore emails.
First I was asked to fill in a form so I did.
Then they came back to me and said that I declined insurance. How does one decline insurance if it was never offered to them?
Then I was told that they would use the basic insurance that they are covered for.
Then I heard nothing until I kept emailing them, he said he would get back to me.
Then John (apparently John handles all the insurance) says sorry sir you signed the invoice stating all was received in good order. I said, really, can you send me a copy of the invoice because I never received one. After several more emails, I received a copy and guess what, I did not sign it so that argument fell short but I did notice they overcharged me. Trying to get my refund back took about eight calls and finally I had to go there to pick it up.
Then I get an email saying, now that you have your refund, the matter is settled and take down your facebook comments. I said no this is not resolved and I have not heard a word since.

In summary, these guys have no insurance and it is shocking they are still in business. Do not believe a word they tell you!
they are not professional. You are better off hiring a couple of teenagers, at least they care.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you will be sorry.

Recently, for the second time, we obtained the moving services of your company. Once again, the service was excellent. Eric and Colby arrived on time, planned and performed their work in a professional manner, took great care in handling our possessions, and completed the move well within the estimated time. All that at a very reasonable/affordable cost.

I usually don't provide comments in regard to business dealings...but felt compelled to on this occasion. I have worked in the prison business for 35 years, so, unfortunately have become somewhat cynical and weary of advertisements and "glowing" reports of certain businesses. I recently needed to move my 87 year old mother's furniture from Chilliwack to Spruce Grove, Alberta in a fairly quick unplanned move. Called around...and came to this company....I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDED. They did the move EXACTLY as promised, for EXACTLY the price quoted (no surprises), at the EXACT time promised...and all staff (office and movers) kept me well informed along the way! In addition...the "movers" who did the work were very positive, helpful and polite...just wish I could remember their names!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! Happy to provide these comments.

Do not use this company. They false advertise.. charges do not ad up and they do not cover any damages or loss regardless of what they say they have for insurance. We had hours of repairs to do from unprofessional movers. They do not lay floor runners or remove any foot wear.

Moved from Abbotsford to Calgary - Terrific customer service and the moving crews at both ends were really good. I didn't have any damage, they wrapped and handled everything with care.

Damaged 3 items. Took 20 brand new moving blankets. Overall approximately $2000 in damages and missing items. I have moved often and asked for replacement value insurance prior to the move and paid for additional coverage. After the move they claim that not all items were covered. When asked to provide a signed copy of the insurance with these specifications they no longer respond.

Will not return my calls or emails.

When I phone the office they say claims are only via email and they will have someone call me. I have made over 50 calls/emails over the past 6 months.

BEWARE, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

Becky was amazingly helpful throughout the whole move. Another company was not able to pickup in time, so we went with That Guy. Fantastic service throughout and Becky ensured that I was aware of the pickup and drop-off times. The crew were fantastic and very careful with my couch and TV.

Will definitely recommend to friends, or use them for future moves. I couldn't have asked for a better service.

I used That Guy Van Lines to store and move my things to my new home this past November. Upon arrival, many of the boxes had holes ripped in them, and damage to the exterior. Many of my items including my brand new table was completely wrecked with huge scratches and damage to the metal frame. My picture frames, which were supposed to be in picture boxes, were ALL broken. I submitted a claim, and provided receipts for the items I had them for. I had to continue to call and email them regarding my damaged items. They have been completely disrespectful, and have offered no apologies for damaging my personal items. I will be contacting the BBB, and looking into litigation. Please don't use this company to move your VALUABLE ITEMS, as they place zero value on providing good customer service.

Great help, from beginning to end. The best price (not too low that we knew there'd be sneaky add-on prices) and much lower than the syndicated lines. We had one piece get broken, but not so much their fault as just bad luck. They had a group in Calgary fix it after we arrived at no cost. We will definitely use them again!

We moved from Vancouver to Calgary on November 3 2015. They broke my wardrobe and entertainment centre. The entertainment centre was hidden by the crew who moved me out of Vancouver. When the crew unloading in Calgary finished, I asked where my entertainment centre was. No one knew, until they called the Vancouver employee, and he admitted they broke it, and put it in a storage locker. They also have several items of mine at their office - and to this day, I still don't have them back. No one will answer any emails. I do not know if they have filed a claim with their insurance company because the company won't respond. I registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and the company did not respond to them either. I have gone to the media, and a few outlets have expressed interest in my story. I am now in the process of posting reviews to caution others against using this company. My only other recourse is litigation at this point. I simply want my things back, and to have my broken furniture either repaired, or to be reimbursed for it. Please, do not use this company. I would hate for anyone else to go through an experience like this. It's just awful.
