Our experience with Davel has been nothing short of outstanding. This company demonstrated what true service and quality mean and this was evident throughout the process from start to finish. We originally called a dozen landscape companies of which only 4 called us back. Of those, Tom from Davel stood out. He returned our call promptly, came out to give us some ideas on design, and provided us with multiple quote options based on our budget. The other contractors who called us back we found ourselves chasing them for info and follow up. Furthermore, we cannot stress how patient and accommodating Tom was when dealing with our many questions and changes in design, which was almost on a daily basis. When it came time to do the work, we could tell Davel takes great pride in their workmanship. We saw first hand how meticulous they were to make everything line up perfectly and their suggestions on how to lay out our trees and plants came out better than we had planned. After the job was complete, Tom called us after to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We are so pleased with our experience with Davel that we have referred them to neighbours, friends and family. We truly believe the price that we paid matched the service and quality of work we received. In fact after seeing the finished result, we are now planning on hiring them for additional work that we did not do in the original scope of the project. David and his team were amazing. I have been burned by contractors in the past and have developed a distrust for them in general. David was nothing like those other guys. From the beginning, I felt I could trust him. He walked me through step by step on the process and gave me multiple options to choose from. He worked around my preferences and made sure the work quality was top notch. I initially hired Davel to extend my front driveway widthwise with a curved interlocked area as well as replace my front builder standard concrete steps. Once I saw the work quality and the transformation to my home I immediately asked David to return and build a 10' x 15' foot rear deck with an enclosed 6' tall storage area underneath and an interlocking seating area running alongside the deck. My house is now the envy of the neighborhood. Even after completing the work, David has been available to answer questions and provide advice on some other projects I have been doing. He has also returned to remove some oil stains that mysteriously showed up on a couple of the interlocking stones after we threw a party and he didn't charge me. I will 100% be calling David a the Davel team to do any future projects. I've already got him booked into to seal the interlocking before the winter hits.

The O/O David was professional and courteous throughout the quoting process, which was a refreshing change from what seemed like fly-by-night competition armed with slow response times, sketchy verbal quotes, and poor organization. His crew was disciplined and meticulous throughout the job, taking care to make perfectly mitered cuts, to place armour stones with perfect symmetry, and to avoid causing damage to the property. David made several great suggestions to improve the function and beauty of the design. He also fixed our drainage issues on 3 sides of the property in the course of the installation. Davel was a pleasure to work with and we've been recommending them to all of our neighbors. We'd hire Davel again in a heartbeat. Thank you Davel!

My experience with Tom and his company Davel Construction was smooth and ultimately rewarding. The project was to install interlock in the front of the house leading to the porch, a side walkway, and a back patio. The plan at the back was also to install a deck which was constructed by a different company.

The process was seamless: from the initial estimate, through revisions via 3D visualization, the construction process itself, all the way to cleaning up at the end. We were actually away for most of the actual work and what a pleasant surprise it was to see the end product once we got back from vacation.

The pavers themselves are from Unilock. We chose Umbriano French Grey as the base color with Umbriano Midnight Sky as the border. The front walkway was constructed in tiers/landings learning up to the porch which was also covered with the same Umbriano pavers to create a nice continuous look. A border of boxwoods provides some contrast to the stonework. At the back, the Umbriano pavers contrast nicely with the walnut coloured deck.

I can't say enough good things about Davel Construction. If you want a painless, worry free AAA experience with your next landscaping project from beginning to end, this is the company to go with and Tom is the guy you want to talk to.

I was overly impressed with Davel Construction! We were provided with great advice/recommendations when it came to updating our front porch. The work was done in a timely matter - earlier then expected, and when they finished each day there was no mess in sight! The stone work looks fantastic and we get so many compliments! We will certainly continue to use this company in the future and look forward to recommending to anyone looking for exceptional service!

We have a long backyard and it was mostly grass and old interlock but the space was now occupied with a hot tub. Thomas and his team did a great job from planning to delivering. We now have a great space for our social gatherings and it looks amazing. They also helped us to arrange with other contractors for gas and electricity.
They completed the job on time, budget and with great quality.

We are extremely impressed with the service we received from Davel Construction. We had our front porch redone, front patio and backyard patio. Tomas provided the quote on the same day he came by to assess the project. He gave us his opinion on the design and suggested which patio stones would work best. We are beyond pleased with the end result! Dave and his crew completed the job in a timely manner. They were all very courteous and respectful. They were tidy! Even swept the street infront of the house each day. This company is professional, they provide quality work and outstanding service.
