Threshold Design Concrete Countertops

We had Threshold Design come and quote for resurfacing of our concrete counter top. We were told by John that the counter was not of the highest quality pour but he would be able to seal it again for us and that it would be protected. We were eays going told him we dont care what it looks like as long as the seal will hold.

Its been 1.5 months and the seal has already failed. There are marks all over the counter where the concrete appears fine but scratches are present. When reaching out to them regarding this all they could say was "Not sure what to say." I understand he can only work with what he is given in terms of a counter but we were told the work he did would be sufficient and it not.

I hired John for a concrete breakfast bar countertop and it turned out beautifully! The dimensions, colour and style were exactly as discussed. I did not get other quotes so I'm not sure how competitive the price was. Getting out to Pakenham for the initial consultation was a bit inconvenient, but it was nice to be able to see the range of styles and colours available. John is very relaxed and informal in his approach and very easy to work with.
