Make sure you ask a lot of questions before purchasing blinds from Cortinas. They come across as pleasant to deal with however do not provide full disclosure with regard to your purchase. I am now left with blinds I am not happy with and I've spent over $3,600.
I purchased privacy blinds for the main floor of my house expecting to see outside with no one being able to see inside the house. This was their selling point. This is true during the day however not at night unfortunately. People can see as clear as day into your house in the evening as if you have no blinds installed. The privacy is for daylight only. I was mortified when I learned I had zero privacy in the evening and people could see inside my house. This was an important piece of missing information. When I called to discuss this, her immediate response was to sell me another set of blinds. I will not be spending any more money as my level of confidence in them is low. I cannot take the risk to spend any more money with them.
I'm so disappointed as I enjoy my blinds during the day. It's nice to have light come in and be able to see outside without worrying about anyone seeing indoors. My advice is to shop around and buy elsewhere. They did not handle the situation properly and do not acknowledge any wrong doing. Poor customer service in my books.
