Jamie and his team did a great job on my basement and would definitely recommend them. The quote was done quickly and professionally, Jame is very quick to respond to e-mails and calls, which was much appreciated before and during the installation! We had taken all the wood paneling out of the basement and were replacing it with drywall to update. The drywall guys were quick to install and Jamie and his team were great about letting us know when they were going to arrive and which portions of the job were going to be completed each day. JP did an exceptional job at cutting the holes in our ceiling for pot lights, they look perfectly straight, and it made them very easy to install later on, which is definitely something that I would have struggled with on my own. They said that they would get the job done in a weeks time and they met that commitment even working on a Sunday for the finishing sanding. It looked great when they were all done, Jamie also mentioned that if anything was not too our liking or touch-up's need to be made to call and it would be fixed right away. We did the painting ourselves and noticed a couple of minor thing we would like to have fixed and sent an e-mail they were fixed that day! I was impressed with the quick response, you cannot beat same day service! Definitely recommend Jamie and his team!

After having called 5 drywall companies including "The Mudd Monkey" and getting horribly unprofessional service, HomeStar's lead me to "CALL JAMIE PAINTING & DRYWALL SERVICE". I could not be more happy with the level of service and quality of work that I receive from Jamie and Tom. The work was done on time, exactly on budget, and the quality of workmanship is top notch. I will defiantly use Jamie and his team for future projects.

After several unsuccessful efforts on my own, I used Homestars and selected Jamie. Great choice! He came early, prepared, competent, cheerful and did everything I needed done, pronto. He also used VOC paint, which I had forgotten to ask for, and he also repaired a crack over the front door, and the sun-damaged bottoms of my windows. He also kept everything clean as he quickly worked with his assistant, and cleaned up afterward and placed my heavy furniture back. He is my painter now.Thank you, Homestars!

Jamie’s company profile on Homestars states that he always answers his calls. This is very true. His email responses are very quick as well. I called him to do a quote for a damaged ceiling drywall repair from a pipe leak and also an exterior stucco paint job. He came out promptly and was very professional and personable during our first meeting. He emailed a quote the very same day. I had that “gut” feeling that I had finally found the right guy. His quote was not the cheapest nor the most expensive – it was very reasonable and, with so many positive reviews on Homestars to back up my “gut” feeling, it was a no brainer. The date was set and I could not wait after having to deal with numerous unprofessional/ shady tradesman whom you never hear back from after coming out for a quote. After living in Calgary for 3 years, I am still trying to understand this mystery.

Now onto the good stuff. Jamie is a skilled painter. His drywall crew is also very skilled and professional. They worked hard and fast and finished the job within the promised date. With so many positive reviews, I thought what’s another 10/10 review but I felt compelled to write this after being so impressed and satisfied with everything. Jamie will be my go-to painter from now on and I will recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for a reliable, professional and skilled painter/ drywaller who also happens to be just a great guy overall. I called around for quotes to paint my new basement development, and Jamie's came back very reasonably priced. Primer and 2 coats for the ceiling, 2 bedrooms, a rec room and stairs, with 4 different colours (kids chose). His communication was great, and the work was done ahead of schedule. He made sure I was satisfied with the job before payment, and his crew cleaned up after themselves. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again, or recommend him to friends.

Jamie and his team were punctual,honest, professional and informative from the start. They spent a week and a half finishing the drywall in my basement (1375 sq. ft.) and it looks awesome. I would strongly recommend Call Jamie Painting & Drywall to all of my friends and family and he is the only drywall finishing contractor I would be calling again in the future. Jamie and his crew were absolutely the best. We were especially pleased how quickly and consistently Jamie kept in touch with us throughout the process. His work was first class and Ivan did a super job refinishing our kitchen wall after the plumber and electrician had done their work in our kitchen Reno. Our workshop was all done in a week and Jamie even left me his scaffolding for an extra week so I could get the painting done much easier than using a ladder. We were so pleased with his efficiency we are having him and his crew back later this summer to do some outside painting on our house. A big thank you to you and your team.
