Jamie does excellent work and is very professional and responsible. He has great people skills which make for pleasant interactions and makes the process an enjoyable one. He is extremely hard working and enthusiastic about his craft and it really shows in the quality of the work and the rate in which things get done. I highly recommend Jamie for any job big or small. I contracted Jamie to do some drywall repair (flood damage) and painting of my hallway and living room in May 2017, and I think that I made an excellent choice! I am completely satisfied with the work that Jamie did, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

From the initial quote to the final cleanup, the entire process went extremely smoothly. Jamie's professionalism, work ethic and expertise all contributed to an outstanding job.

This was our second time hiring Jamie for mudding and taping drywall, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. The work is done well, on time, as described and for the quoted price. Additionally I was happy to see that Jamie re-invests in his own business in that he now uses dustless sanding tools which keeps dust to a minimum! This is great for renovations in living areas that are still in use during the work. This particular job included taping, mudding, and sanding walls and ceiling. We also had Jamie prime and paint this time around. Everything turned out great. Overall, we're satisfied with the work and, as an added bonus, Jamie is just a really nice guy who always seems to be in a good mood (his crew too).

We needed a fresh coat of paint for our condo we were putting on the market to sell. I had another company quote $2700 to paint our tiny 473 sqft apartment. I found Call Jamie on Homestars and they were able to provide us with a second quote the same day we called. For $1000 cheaper they were able to paint the entire place with baseboards and closet doors included and had a professional cleaning service come in afterwards to clean up. We reside in Nova Scotia but had family visiting Calgary for a few weeks and wanted to get all the painting completed while they were out there. Call Jamie was able to start right away and had it done within a couple of days. Their employee Brook did an amazing job. She kept my family in the loop with daily updates and photos to show the progress she did during the day. We are beyond happy with the service and job that Call Jamie and Brook provided us. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for affordable and reliable painters that do a great job.

Jamie and his team (wife and painter Brooke) were very personable, attentive to detail, very willing to meet my needs and expectations. I was concerned the blending of old with new texture would be obvious but in fact the result was as seamless as was possible considering the previous drywall work was not optimal. I am very happy with the finished product.

We are impressed with this company. We felt that our project mattered, that they wanted our business. They came in with a fair quote and had the extra bonus of friendly workers, with excellent communication skills. We had a mystery staircase ceiling for Joel and he solved the mystery beautifully. He explained any issues and hiccups along the way. He worked very hard and produced a great product. Brook is a very experienced and talented painter and the walls and ceiling looks wonderful! And what a great bonus to have Michelle in to shine everything up after! She is a very hard worker with high standards. I would definitely recommend this company. Thanks!

Jamie finished the job in a timely fashion and left my walls looking exactly as I asked. He was always either on time, or courteous enough to call or text and let me know that he'd be delayed.

Removed popcorn ceiling and refinished it to a flat ceiling. Plus re-painted out pantry door, trim and door frame to match the new kitchen cabinets. Not only that but considering the amount of mess it should have made the mess was kept to a minimum and then a cleaner was sent in to finish cleaning up. Thanks Jamie.

We had planned to only have our ceilings sanded to flat and were going to paint and prime ourselves. They were done 1000 sq ft in only 3.5 days. Jamie and Joel did such an amazing job, we decided to hire them to paint and prime them too so we didn't ruin their amazing work. We have dealt with a lot of trades in the last few months, and Jamie and Joel were over the top professional and respectful of us and our house. They papered and taped off what they needed to and got to work. They were done ahead of schedule, which was great because we had to fire the renovator our kitchen company hired as he was not going to be done in time for the cabinets to be installed and his work and professionalism was severely lacking. The "other guy" had already installed all the drywall quite poorly and uneven and the mudding was sloppy and half hazard. We truly lucked out with getting to see Jamie and Joel's work on the other side of the rest of our house and they were great about ensuring they fixed everything the renovator did wrong, in only 3 days. You couldn't even see the giant hump on the wall or the line in the ceiling where the wall had been taken out. I can't imagine how it would have looked if we let the "other guy" continue. Jamie even convinced us to buy a paint sprayer and then spent some time showing us how to set it up and use it. We have a ton of doors, trim, closets, railing, wall of wainscoting and shutters to paint so this was extra nice above and beyond information that is going to save us a lot of time and money to do it ourselves. We also received a ton of tips on painting and drywalling/patching for other areas of the house we were doing. Most importantly, we could still work around Jamie and Joel on the other things we needed to get done without feeling awkward or in the way. We are already planning to have them do the basement ceilings when we are finished the upstairs. We were even allowed to save our included cleaning until the end of our entire renovation. We were also told to let him know if we notice anything not quite right and he will come fix it. We have already recommended him to our flooring guy and kitchen company. Amazing quality service where you really feel like you got more than you paid for and a company that stands behind their work!

Firstly, Jamie is very courteous, polite and one of the nicest people you will meet. He truly cares about his work and is very easy to deal with. My job took 4 days in a row of visits from Jamie and his crew. Jamie was always punctual for every visit. He kept you up to date on the project so you were always in the loop. At the end of our repairs Michelle a cleaning lady who Is part of your repair experience arrived to clean the area where the work was performed. The area was very clean to begin with as Jamie was very tidy every day when working. Michelle did a great job dusting and cleaning the area. Thank you all for a wonderful job. Seriously, hire Jamie if you need work done.
