Call Jamie Painting&Drywall

Had a small basement remodel done with partial new board to match half of the room that was existing drywall by Jamie and his crew. Pam contacted me right after my initial contact and scheduled a visit for the estimate. She was very pleasant to talk to and I had my estimate hours later. After we scheduled the job, Jamie kept in constant contact with me and promptly answered any questions I had. Every step of the job from there was great! Everyone was more than willing to work with my complicated schedule. Very pleased with the quality of work at every step and the customer service from all of Jamie's people was top notch! After we started the dry walling, I asked Jamie if he was interested in painting the room. He accepted the extra work and quoted me a very fair price. Again, all aspects of the job, from quoting to completion was excellent. I will be calling Jamie for the remaining work I have in my home and I would absolutely encourage anyone to call Jamie for all your drywall and painting needs. Stop looking for another contractor and call Jamie!

I called Jamie to fix ceilings around new room wall in my basement and blend it with existing knockdown texture. The job was flawless. Very positive experience. Great attitude and professionalism!

I'm so impressed with this company's deliverables! Pam came the same day I initially called to take measurements of the project - she told me I'd receive an estimate within 48 hours, but I received it 3 hours later!
Brooke was really great about communicating updates on the project and texted photos which was nice to receive. She estimated that the job would take 5 days but she got it done in 3.

Great job, Pam came in and did the measurements and provided us a quote within hours. The quote was very detailed as to the scope of the work etc. Once agreed on the starting date, everything went so smooth. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. We were kept up date the entire process and the quote price was the final price. We were very pleased with both the cost and the excellent workmanship. Jamie also recommended a company (Hannigans) for our primer and paint requirements- Leah was great to work with.

I sure like that I can trust the HomeStars site and with Call Jamie Painting it was no different. I had four separate sections throughout the house that needed repairs varying from a hole in the ceiling to corner bead repairs and wall patches.

From the first call I felt like they were on the ball. The initial assessment was completed within a couple days and the quote received later that day. Kind and respectful email follow ups were exchanged and never felt pressured to proceed with their quote while I entertained competing offers. In the end Jamie stood out.

After deciding to go with them booking a time was quick and easy. We went away on holidays for a week and the work was completed during that time. Brook, who completed the work was fantastic. She was able to accommodate all our requests and some last minute additions. We are very happy with the final product and the site was clean when we returned much to the delight of my wife.

First off, Jamie and crew are very friendly, trustworthy and honest workers. They showed up when expected, worked throughout the day, and were very upfront with the progress and costs (which were very reasonable!).

Incredibly pleased with this work (the pictures don't show how perfect those outside corners are!). My wife and I had finished insulating, strapping, blocking, etc. and hanging drywall in the basement and stairwell, and naturally we made a few first-timer mistakes - however, after they worked on it, you can't tell. The corners are perfect, the walls are absolutely smooth, and all the bulges and gaps that I had created are now completely invisible. I'm so happy that the overly large hole because I didn't move a lightbox down, or an error around a vent, or all the myriad additive errors from misaligned framing + drywall are absolutely, completely covered.

They sealed everything well when sanding, I have no dust outside of the basement. I worked in my office upstairs and didn't even hear them most days they were working.

I would 100% recommend Jamie to anybody who doesn't want to mud and tape themselves, especially if you're not a pro and saved some money and hung your own drywall. You need someone to do this part of the job right, and they deliver.

When our family grows, if our next place also needs similar work, we will use them again without hesitation.

Jamie replied to my request for a quote within hours of sending it and was on the job within a week. He took the time to cover the garage floor completely along with a few things we had left in the garage. The job was finished when promised and was flawless. In Jamie's words he treats a garage the same as he would a basement and i could agree with this more. On top of this he offered his discount for paint. All in all a very positive experience. i would highly recommend him.

I had a very small drywall repair and paint job that was beyond my skill level, but still not a ton of work. I wasn't sure about getting quotes because the size of the job was so small.

I contacted Call Jamie and he responded within 10 minutes saying that would be happy to give me a quote. I should add the Jamie responded at about 10 p.m. on a Saturday night - so I could tell right away he was committed to earning my business.

Pam came out to do the estimate the following Monday, and she was quick and answered all my questions. She was in and out in about 10 minutes, and I had a written estimate emailed to me within 24 hours. The price was very reasonable, so I asked when they could start. When they said the following Monday, I was surprised because it was so soon.

Sure enough, first thing Monday morning Brooke showed up ready to get started. She was great to work with and answered all my questions. I could tell by the way she talked about her work that she really enjoyed it and was committed to doing a great job, which she most definitely did.

The quote said it would take 5 days to complete the work, but they had the job done in four. Four straight days Brooke came on time, and kept me up to speed on how the project was progressing. She even walked me through the process, explaining what she was doing at each step.

Payment was easy to make via email transfer, and the amount quoted was the amount I paid. Im very happy with the quality of work done and how well and efficiently the business end of the company is run.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Call Jamie, and will definitely use them again for future projects.

I called Jamie for a quote to remove the popcorn off the ceiling of our newly purchased 1860 sq ft home and convert it to flat which came in around $7500. Jamie and his team did a great job. They arrived when they said they would, they kept to my strict timeline and they hired cleaners after to get rid of every speck of drywall dust. He then convinced us to pay him an additional $3,500 to lacquer our upstairs bannister, downstairs railing and hutch. The lacquer sprayed much further that initially indicated and we were forced to sand walls and repaint the entire house to get rid of it.
But the real trouble came about three months later when our skylight drywall started to crack, screws started to pop out of the ceiling in various places upstairs and the upstairs bannister cracked. When I contacted Jamie to ask if he warrantied his work his excellent customer service was no longer present and he said that it was a mistake the builder made (my house was built in 1997) but just happened to show up months after my ceilings were skimmed, which is a very convenient coincidence.
Within a month of completing the lacquer my bannister started to crack and once again, Jamie said that it should have been one piece as he knew that overtime this would happen. Had I known that overtime meant 30 days I would have saved my $300+.
Jamie's work was initially very good and he was very accommodating but if you're looking for something to last, perhaps look elsewhere.
