After having quotes from three companies to create a backyard stamped concrete patio we decided to use Raw Concepts and absolutely made the right choice. Scott definitely knows his business. He explained everything clearly, answered our continuous questions and completed the project on time and at the price of the quote. He has a great crew of young guys who showed up every morning and worked incredibly hard and clearly enjoy their job. The finished project looks great! We are thinking of doing our front stairs next and will be using Scott.

Concrete patio

Very unprofessional and disappointing work. We hired Scott to build a small patio under our deck. It was very poorly done. It sloped 41/2 inches over 8 feet towards our house. Exactly what we asked him not to do. When we voiced our concerns he didn't return our calls and left the job unfinished. Beware.

Company Response: This job was trying to but up to an existing sidewalk that was poured entirely wrong. I showed up to check on the drainage issues. All of the water shed off of the concrete to a drain tile or yard. I was told by her expert friends that I wouldn't get paid. I was on site with a Jack hammer to extract the concrete if need be. I was told the water was puddling even though anyone could watch it shed off the patio. Then a comparison was made to a basement floor? A new, covered slab of concrete? Knowing that these people weren't going to pay why on earth would I spend a minute more dealing with thieves. If you want a list of satisfied customers I can provide. Where are all of the positive reviews. Those people are out enjoying their patios and pool decks. That they paid for!!

Stamped Concrete Driveway & Patio

Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. Scott quoted out for our driveway and patio - we did not question the quote, nor ask for a lower price. Looked great at first, then several cracks emerged on the driveway and patio, as well as the sealer didn't hold. After multiple attempts, and a promise to come and fix it, Scott finally said that the cracks were barely noticeable, and the sealer issue was expected. Bottom line, he wouldn't fix it and felt that he gave me the job I paid for.
