We hird J & L Contracting to paint our newly developed basement. It started out okay. After painting, they requested we pay in full (we did - our HUGE mistake) however, we felt more comfortable handing them money as they told us they would come back in 2 days to remove the tape and do any touch-ups.
They never came back. We found many spots missed or totally unevern and the lines that were not cut properly (our basement ceiling looks wobbly)They do not answer their phone or return phone calls. The couple of times my husband was lucky enough to contact them, they promised to come out within 2 days. They never came. It looks like we are going to have to hire new painters to fix their "work". If you are looking to hire them, please reconsider - the work is shabby and they do not follow through, despite having a signed contract
