In October 2011 i had my entire backyard redone. New sod, new patio new garden beds. The entire job was 13K which was paid in cash. The backyard looked great. Fast forward to the spring/summer 2012 it still looked great. Watered the lawn all the time, the sod marks began to meld together everything was dandy.
Fast forward to the spring of 2013 and my entire lawn was dead. I don't mean patches i mean not a blade of grass lived. I call Dutchman landscaping and asked them to come to the house. I made an appointment for the day and when the time came no one arrived. No phone call nothing.
Contacted again and advised them about my dead lawn. It was painful to even get a call back but eventually i spoke with the owner and told him of my situation. He went by my house and saw the state of it. When he called i was at work and couldn't talk long but he seemed pretty amazed that the lawn was dead. We made a second appointment for him to come around and discuss it. The date came and no visit, no phone call, nothing.
Seems like since he had my money there was zero interest in helping me out. The job seemed good but obviously customer service is nil. I would not do business with a company that has no time for customers especially that customer pays cash in full.
