Unique Touch Concrete Design - concrete polishing specialists in Toronto

We live in a downtown condo that had all the original flooring which was carpet and laminate and when we considered polished concrete we were not sure what the outcome would be but we were so thrilled with the results. Our unit is aprox 850sq feet that we had to have polished.

From the time that Edson came to provide us with a quote (which was the most competitive of the ones we had received) he was very professional and took the time to educate us over and above what we learned online. He explained the process, the findings what we should consider even if we do not go with him.During the process there were delays due to our neighbors and Edson was very accommodating and kept us in the loop and was flexible to come on alternate days to ensure the project was completed in time. From a work and customer service perspective Edson and his team were excellent and I would recommend them.

Our crumbling garage floor is now like a high end auto showroom. We love it ! Tony is really good at what he does, friendly and just so nice to deal with. We recommend him and his services highly.

My experience with Unique Touch was positive in every way. Job was to polish the concrete floor in an unfinished basement of a 20 year old house. At the estimate appointment Edson clearly explained the process and what to expect - final result dependent on quality of original concrete. As other HomeStars reviewers have said, price quoted was the price charged even though the job took longer to complete than anticipated. Crew arrived on time every day and were pleasant and professional. They took a high degree of care in performing their work and it was clear they are highly skilled in their craft. I know that there were sections of the floor that needed a lot of additional work and they took the time needed to achieve, not just a good, but, a great result. I am thrilled with the finished floor. Really fantastic and quality service received throughout. I highly recommend Unique Touch & team!

A friend of mine got his basement done in hight gloss with them, and it was really nice, I called Edson and he came over to take a look at my house, He was very honesty saying that he couldn't promise the same result as my friend's because each concrete is different and has its particularity but they would do their best, and they did so.
Not surprisingly, they have done an extraordinary job. Two guys were working at my house, they were very pleasant and professional. They isolated all the access from the basement to the main floor to prevent dusty to come up and when they finish, they let everything clean and shining.
I am really happy how nice it came up and more importantly, my wife is happy too.

Tony warned me the job would be more difficult as there were already walls in the basement, but felt they could do a good job hand polishing the edges. I requested a medium sheen. Unfortunately, they did not seal off the rest of the house so my entire house was full of concrete dust in no time! When the job was 'complete' he brought in some random cleaner who did not have the necessary equipment, used my vacuum which fried the motor ($800 mistake), and left me with a floor that has virtually no sheen and numerous areas with pits. I think they're used to working in unfinished garages, not houses.

I had water damage in my loft bedroom. I originally had carpet and wanted to change to polish floors. I decided to forget dealing with the contractors provided by insurance (as they were too pricey) and luckily came across Unique Touch. I called a few contractors but as soon as I spoke to Tony from Unique I felt I could trust him and the team as they knew what they were talking about from the onset. Next, Edson came for the estimate and he was super helpful too with his advice. I was booked within 2 weeks. Ryan and his partner (wish I knew his name) completed the job. My husband, baby and I left our home for two days and let them complete the job. I appreciated their HONESTY & TRUSTWORTHINESS. They were early on the job, kept me in the loop all day and ensured security/concierge locked up after each day.

I have had work done in our place and some ppl are just awful and leave a mess behind. I was SUPER PLEASED that there was no mess to come home to and a amazing super clean job. I LOVE ❤️ the new floor in my bedroom.
They did a really good job matching the bedroom floor to the rest of my cement floors in the loft.

They also provided me with dos and DONTs to maintain the floor, which I really appreciated. from start to finish they did great.

Tony and his team were very punctual and professional. I received regular updates during construction and never received any unpleasant surprises. My basement slab looks so shiny now.

Unique Touch was very clear in communicating the price, the timing, and the product that they deliver. The quality of the floor exceeded our expectations.

Tony and his team were courteous, reliable, did meticulous work and cleaned up after themselves. Tony advised us before proceeding with the job that the area in our basement where there had been tile for decades might show a checkered pattern once they polish the concrete. The mortar stains the concrete all the way through so it can't be polished out. In our situation it did. Our advise to anyone wanting the polished concrete look be mindful that the state of your concrete ultimately decides the end result. Tony and his team are outstanding but they can't change the concrete.

I initially contacted Tony of Unique Touch Concrete Design about 6 months ago to discuss doing a polished concrete floor in our basement. We were in the early stages of an extensive 11 month renovation project at the time.

Tony was more than happy to answer all of my questions and provided insight into how we should proceed when our new basement slab was going to be poured (by another company). He was tremendously helpful in this regard.

That said, I couldn’t be happier with the end result - the polished floors look incredible and we are very pleased with Unique Touch.

Tony’s crew were very professional. They were the first crew to arrive on site everyday and went about their business with complete professionalism and attention to detail. I have had numerous trades on site during the Reno and they are as good as it gets.

They were very respectful to our property and also cleaned the site before leaving everyday. Something of a lost art these days.

We had a very positive experience with Tony and would strongly recommend him to anyone considering doing any concrete work. They are first rate.
