He understands construction and based on that understanding he applies his knowledge about bats and bat proofing effectively. His services do not come cheap, but you get everything you pay for and more. He explains what needs to be done and how he will do it. He is respectful of your property and attentive to your concerns. If you have questions, he answers them fully, with straight talk, no jargon, and no baloney. As said at the beginning of this review, if you need bat proofing services, hire this man!

This was my second quote. The price was reasonable give the time (over 2 days) it took to complete the work. Benjamin was very knowledgeable and responsive. He did what he said he would and more. He sealed some areas that mice, not bats, would get into. He was professional and easy to work with. He stayed true to the quote even though the job was a bit longer. Overall the experience was positive and I feel he will stand up against the warrantee of the work.

Our 115-year old home has had bats in the attic and walls since we moved in decades ago. We have only had about 4 bats enter our living spaces over the years, but - to increase our re-sale value - we finally decided to have the house bat-proofed. We were extremely pleased with Benjamin and Kenny (& Peter). Benjamin ("Bat Control Specialists") was very patient as we made the original booking over the phone, explaining everything about the upcoming process and answering all questions. He was most knowledgeable! The actual bat-proofing job was done over two "half days" (on our 115-year old brick home with very high roof lines). Kenny and Peter ("Bats Canada" - in conjunction with "Bat Control Specialists") were extremely competent and thorough (as we watched all that they did over the two days). Kenny (a former roofer) went above and beyond (at no additional cost) to animal-proof a couple of other areas that he felt might become a future problem (with larger animals - raccoons, squirrels, etc.). Thank you for that! Unlike some of the other popular wildlife control companies (who guarantee their work for 5 years only), "Bat Control Specialists" have a lifetime warranty. They are more expensive, but there is no need to have them back once the job is done the first time (to perfection). I had done my research ahead of time to find a reputable company (as the cost was significant for us) and both my husband and myself were extremely pleased with Benjamin, Kenny & Peter. All three were friendly, informative and competent. The workmanship was thorough and professional. We give them our highest recommendation! I would highly recommend Bat Control Specialist. They are very knowledgeable & professional, answering questions and providing suggestions for us to lim it the flying nocturnal visitors until they could come to bat proof the outside of our house. They worked solidly for the better part of 2 days, sealing up any entries, while still leaving a couple of one way exits for any bats within the attic. They left everything cleaned up & neat after. The result is the first summer with no bats coming in and no more rustling noises from the attic or upper walls. Thank you Bat Control Specialist!

Ben and Ken are serious professional and experts at what they do. If you have a bat issue, don’t waste your time with other companies. I talked to so many people, had contractors come and never call me back because our job was over their head. After reading about and being warned of bat removal companies that were not legit I was a bit skeptical. But when Ben and Ken arrived and got right to work I realized they are experts and work so hard to ensure they solve the problem for good. Yes it’s expensive, but when you see what’s involved in fixing the problem for good the cost is completely justified. Our house has a more complicated roof, and it needed someone with Ben and Ken’s construction background to really fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, they work hard. They are honest. I was occasionally hearing screeching noises from the attic and one night a bat showed up in my house and then I realized that bats were living in my attic! After making some phone calls and doing some research I realized that when it comes to bat control, typical pest control companies are a joke. He is more than a specialist, very detailed, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced! I phoned him multiple times first, he answered all my questions in a very professional and friendly manner. He came to my house with his crew on time, they were all very professional and went over and beyond my expectation. I am very impressed and extremely happy and satisfied with the bat proofing work they did. Even patched up some shingles on my roof during the bat proofing process.
Since then i have not had a single bat in my home nor do i hear any noises anymore from the attic, I can now finally sleep and live in my house without fear.

I had a very informative conversation with Benny who reassured me about our bat issue at home, leading me to understand that it wasn’t as urgent as I thought. He obviously knows his stuff and is an honest guy as he could have easily upsold me on expensive bat removal services that I didn’t actually need. One conversation like this really makes you trust someone, and I know who we’ll be calling if it ever truly gets out of hand.
