It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Megacity Paving. Ive contacted a few companies for a quote but went with Megacity because they were straight to the point and responsive and the price was reasonable. They did everything as promised. Great communication. There was absolutely no messing around. Showed up when promised. Worked hard. Had the job done in one day. I would hire them again and recommend to my friends.

When researching this project I spoke with 6 companies - 2 ghosted me and 3 sent quotes at a very leisurely pace.

Megacity, however, was extremely quick and communicative, working with me to understand and decide the scope of the project and what my best options were for long-term wear and price. Daniel talked with me, taking time to answer my questions and ideas.

This meant more to me than the quoted price (which, of course, was extremely reasonable!). I want to work with people who stay in touch and understand that some clients need to feel safe with a company to move forward.

I am very happy I worked with them. The crew worked quickly, always arriving on time and working at a good pace. The team was polite and took pains to make sure that any issues that arose were communicated quickly to me so that I could make decisions or be informed of any pitfalls.

The work was finished well, and it's covered by a 1-year warranty should their be any shifting or movement of stone over the winter/spring freeze and thaw. I was also advised as to the upkeep that might be required in the long term.

I am writing this just after the completion of this project, and I am already looking forward to working with them again.

NB: in the photo, they are responsible for all the new work, but not the stairs to the porch, which might be their next project with me!

I communicated with Daniel via text and sent him pictures of my driveway which was sinking near the garage. He was quick to answer my questions and provide a solution. Scheduling was easy, they showed up on time. They noticed a lot more sinking than expected and I appreciated the video call where they explained and provided another solution. Megacity Paving crew arrived on time, as scheduled. They were going to install two patches in front of my garage. They use hot asphalt for the repair, to make it last. I could hear their machinery outside, so I looked out. It was evident that their juju was working, because the job was almost done. The place looked spotless and the old asphalt pieces were gone. They sure were not wasting time. Which made me think that I have a couple of other jobs I certainly would not mind placing in their hands, preferably soon.
