The project was to renovate a small bungalow’s basement and the small kitchen upstairs. This contractor's ideas were decent however the execution of project was not to our satisfaction.
Timelines were simply not close to being met. The contract states that the renovation would take approx 3 months from commencement yet it took 11 1/2 months. At this time the City Inspector issued an Order to Comply to the Contractor to remove the drywall and allow them to inspect the structural work. Conflict ensued when contractor failed to comply, at this point we ended our relationship with Par-Tek.
The photos show what Par-tek believes is a suitable radiator installation (it isn't for more than the obvious cosmetic reasons) and how the pex pipe drill holes were improperly placed (far too close, and not centered on joist). It wasn't even the proper type of pex pipe for a heating system.
