Marriott's Roofing did our roof about 5 years ago and we are very pleased with how it turned out and how extra attention was given to the complex angles of our roof. Since then, I have recommended them to many of our friends and family.
About a year ago, we discovered a persistent water leak above a 2nd floor window. Over the span of the year, we had several specialized trades come by to asses the cause of the stubborn leak that included window installers and brick layers. Even though we applied multiple solutions that they recommended to us, the problem persisted.
I subsequently contacted Chris thinking that the cause of the leak must be from the roof. While I was on the phone with him explaining the problem, he looked at our house on gMaps and said “I think I can see the problem”. He promptly came out to have a look, inspected to roof and confirmed that it was in good shape. He then started running water on brick above the leaking window and was able to replicate the problem. It turns out that a few micro-cracks in the brick mortar and a couple of poorly placed brick weepers were to blame.
Chris came back a few days later when everything was dry, applied some professional colour matched caulking to the problem areas and the problem is solved. What I appreciated also is that he took the initiative check if the problem was present in other areas.
I think what makes Marriott’s stand out beyond others is experience and the ability to get personal and reliable customer service years after having purchased services from them.
