No job is too big or small for our company. When I inspected Pete's front porch roof after meeting him at the Caledonia home show, I noted some critical deficiencies on his recently re-shingled garage which was connected by a rusting metal valley to the area on the front porch which required work. As this valley needed replacement, it made sense to redo the garage in addition to the front porch. There was a ventilation issue we needed to solve before we added the missing drip edge flashings and once the new pre-painted metal valleys were installed, a new roofing system was installed on the front porch and garage. Pete's new lifetime roofing system will provide years of worry-free protection.

We were grateful Julie notified us early in the new year about a newly acquired property she had purchased which required a new roof. While quoting the new roofing system, we also recommended installation of a bathroom exhaust fan with connecting metal roof exhaust vent plus an attic insulation top up which increased her attic insulation to an Energy Star rating of R60. We appreciate your business Peter and thank you for reporting a job well done. We met Peter at the end of last year while installing a new roof on one of his neighbour's houses. Peter knew he needed a new roof but was disappointed his 12 year new home needed to be re-roofed already. After an inspection of the roof, we noted some deficiencies in the original installation which were causing leaks on the front porch. A new sheet of plywood was needed to repair this water damage. After the synthetic paper underlayment with ice and water membrane had been installed on the entire roof deck as our secondary leak protection, we then installed the missing drip edge flashings. We used the premium performance shingle this time and once we upgraded the ventilation, Peter's new lifetime warranty roofing system was complete.

We were grateful for Gord's call requesting a roof estimate. While inspecting his roof during the estimate, we noted signs of heat build up in the attic area. A quick conversation with the client indeed revealed stifling hot conditions in the attic during the summer and cool zones in the house during the winter. An inspection of the attic revealed a combination of inadequate roof ventilation and less than current building code R value insulation in the attic space. These were contributing factors in the previous roof only lasting just 2/3 of its rated life span. We upgraded the roof ventilation to a ridge vent system and the client opted to self install more layers of insulation in his attic space this year. This premium installation included ice and water membrane and synthetic paper underlayments as part of their new lifetime warranty roofing system. This enhanced warranty covers materials, labour, tear-off and disposal including 50 years of non prorated coverage as part of its limited lifetime warranty coverage. This new roof will provide the very best protection for many years to come.

The client had called after a heavy rain to report a significant leak in their living room. This was especially concerning as they were leaving for vacation in a few short days. The roof was completed the day before they left. The chimney required a significant roof board repair all around it. Once that was complete, this entire area was waterproofed with Blueskin waterproofing membrane. We upgraded the ventilation by installing a ridge vent and the client's new limited lifetime warranty shingled system was complete just in time for vacation.
