George came and did an inspection on a house i was looking to buy. He went above and beyond. Was very professional and very experienced. Knows what he is doing and looking for. Answered all my questions. Would definitely use him again and would recommend to anyone.

George from Home Sweet Home Inspections carried out inspection for a house in Grimsby last week. George arrived at site with all requisite professional tools and went thoroughly through all stages of inspection with high level of professionalism. He has a thorough knowledge about all components of house construction in accordance with latest building code. He gave his sincere recommendations to remedy any deficiencies he came across. Overall an excellent experience, very thorough, explaining issues and possible future problems throughout the inspection, made many suggestions, but wasn't pushy with recommendations. Detailed report given right after inspection along with a follow-up report emailed with photos. Even responded quickly to questions we had many days later. Offered but didn't push an asbestos test, which we decided to have completed, and it actually ended up saving us money on our offer as things previously unknown to us and the homeowner were discovered. In the end, this equipped us with information and knowledge we didn't have previously that will be of great benefit since we are planning extensive renovations... to know where things stand now is invaluable. Would use them again without hesitation. Thank you, George!

We had initially booked with another company, but after the insistence of my son, I changed to Home Sweet Home based on reviews here at Homestars. What a pleasure it was to meet and work with George. Home inspections are a titch stressful, but my Son and I were confident we were getting the best within mere minutes of meeting and chatting with George. We walked away knowing exactly what the house needed. I've been there twice previously and never noticed half the small and medium items George pointed out. His opinions and report enabled me to confirm this is indeed my forever home. But the best part? Who else gets such a fun, laugh out loud inspection? Based on George’s credentials and good reviews online, I used him for a home inspection. He was thorough in his review of the home, showed me where there were issues and provided an extensive checklist/report as well as photographs of areas of concern. He also had better pricing, which included answering any questions that I had after the inspection. I would definitely recommend George.
