Robin from Fireplace West just installed a gas fireplace insert for us and did a great job.

From the time we initially contacted him to after the project was completed, Robin was prompt and courteous in communicating with us.

From our first contact to our last, Robin was prompt and courteous. He answered all our questions and helped us anticipate things we hadn't considered. Robin also made a point of explaining and demonstrating how to use our new fireplace. And when we asked for a change after the installation, he went the extra mile in accommodating our request.

All in all, Robin was easy to work with, knowledgeable and provided extra surprising touches that were really a delight.

Robin & team were excellent to deal with. We had our new fireplace installed at the end of last Summer (2015) and we were able to enjoy it throughout this past Fall & Winter. Robin was upfront, honest, time efficient, and quite personable. The cost was quite a bit less than other companies we were looking at. The job was completed in two days (tear out, installation, and finishing of tile hearth). We are very happy with the full job from start to finish, and feel it was at a very fair price. Robin and his team did an excellent job removing our old, inefficient, wood burning fireplace and replacing with a beautiful, high-quality, gas insert. The work was on time (days before Christmas) and on budget. We are thrilled with the new fireplace - it's a stunning addition to the family room.

I saw the reviews on HomeStars and liked the reviews for Fireplace West. When I called, the owner Robin came to quote the next day and they installed on the third day (perfect timing for them in between jobs). Exceptional service, excellent equipment and no clean up for me when they were finished. There was a wood burning fireplace in existence, and Robin converted it to gas, and it is lovely. The cats and I have since been enjoying all the wonderful heat in the living room from the gas fireplace. It is beautiful to look at and I have been using it every day since it was installed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a new fireplace. Thank you for your excellent service.

I was looking at HomeStars reviews in the spring and noticed great comments about Fireplace West. I called Robin Heatherington to set up an appointment. He arrived on time and after choosing the model that I wanted, we agreed that the quote was fair. Robin was surprised when I told him that I'd sign the contract and give him a deposit without getting other quotes. I just had a good feeling about the conversation and it turns out that I was right.
In September, Robin and his colleague Connor installed a beautiful fireplace and everything works as promised. The log set is so realistic compared to what I looked at years ago and I absolutely love the remote.
I'm moving next summer but when I buy my next house I'm definitely going to call Robin to ask him to install another gas fireplace for me. He does great work and there are no negative surprises. I don't mind that winter is coming because I'm going to be very cosy.

Contacted Fireplace West after reading reviews here. And I could not be happier. Robin and Connor are extremely professional and personable. By far the easiest dealings I have had in a long while. Work was done on time, on budget and with zero inconvenience. Attention to detail is second to none. Fireplace West is a 10+ in my book!

I recently contacted Robin, the owner of Fireplace West with a couple of questions regarding my fireplace since it's installation 7 months ago. He was at my house to check things out within 2 hours of me sending him an email. Now THAT is service! It's one thing to have great service upon installation but to have quick follow up if there ever are any questions or concerns.......now that's exceptional service and is why this company keeps getting such great reviews!

Robin and his son came and installed the gas insert to a red brick fireplace. He allowed me to pay him in two installments for which I was grateful. The fireplace is working fine. Great. However when completed, there was an ugly gap above the fireplace insert. He said that since I mentioned I may reface the fireplace that didn't matter. But I didn't want to reface it for now so he made a black metal frame to cover the gap. However it is freestanding and it rattles all the time. I have to kick the fireplace to stop the rattle. I guess I have no choice but reface the fireplace soon or continue to kick the fireplace

It's that time of year again when I call Robin & Matt to service the fire places in our home.
Robin installed the fireplace in our sunroom a few years ago, and did a exceptional job.
We wouldn't consider ever calling anyone else.
