Thanks to Aaron and the hardworking and professional crew who completed a reroof on our Newmarket home. We used Landmark Pro shingles with a full membrane. All new metal flashings, roof vents and drip edges were neatly installed. The crew were a pleasure to meet and the yard was thoroughly cleaned. We would unconditionally recommend Reid’s Roofing. Aaron was the first person to respond to our request for an estimate and spent time to understand the job and went the extra mile to investigate materials that would allow for a 20 year warranty. Alex (foreman) and his crew were great. They worked hard and well together and the site was clean afterwards. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof.

I just had my roof re-shingled. I caller Reid's Roofing and was told that someone would be out the next day and he was!! Aaron sized up my roof and the next day I had my quote. When I agreed to have them do the job ( I had asked for quotes from other roofers two of which didn't even get back to me) Aaron gave me a projected start date. He was off by one day as the date he gave me it was raining. His crew showed up at 8:30 and got right down to work as it was a big roof I didn't think that it would be done in just one day. Well at 5:30 another crew showed up and the two crews worked till just after 7 and my roof was done and the cleanup was completed. And what a cleanup job. It has been just over a week now and I still have not found one shingle nail or piece of shingle on the ground. My bill was exactly what my quote was. I found this company very professional from Aaron down to all his crew. This is hard to find in today. Thank you all for an outstanding job. I am highly recommending them to all my friends.

Aaron Reid was one 3 roofing contractor's we had come to quote a new roof, he was very professional, had the best price, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He started exactly when he said he would, and came back to inspect the job afterward. The crew did an excellent job, and were very tidy. We were impressed with Aaron Reid. He came to give us an estimate and was the only contractor out of the ones we contacted who actually went up on the roof of our house and garage and told us what we needed. The crew was very professional. The old shingles were deposited in a red bin that they brought with them. It looked clean and shiny - the nicest bin that we have ever seen. They replaced our old plastic vents with metal ones. They cleaned up very nicely. Our property looked better than it did before they came. There were no bits of shingles in the gardens and we found no roofing nails. Our eavestroughs were thoroughly cleaned.They dealt with the unique conditions of our property (detached garage in the back, houses close together with steep peaks on the roof) with ease. We are very happy with the work that Reid's Roofing did and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We’ve been in this 20-year-old townhouse for 2 years, and the roof has loomed as an issue for us during that time. This spring, we requested quotes from a number of different contractors. Only Reid’s and one other contractor told us that we needed only a partial reroofing – that the south-facing part has been redone within the past 3 or 4 years. When I asked whether it wouldn’t make sense to simply do the whole thing, Steve, who was quoting the job, said that it truly wasn’t necessary.

Reid’s provided estimates for 3 grades of shingles. I’d expressed an interest in the intermediate grade, but Aaron encouraged me to go with the less-expensive choice, partly so that the shingles would match those that had already been installed on adjacent townhouses, and partly because he felt that for our project, the difference in cost wasn’t justified.

On installation day, the crew arrived at exactly the specified date and time and worked relentlessly. As they removed our shingles, they found that our neighbours’ roof was in fairly grim shape in places. On their own initiative, Reid's fixed a good part of the neighbours' upper roof so that they would be able to get through the winter without problems. After the new roof was on, they cleaned up meticulously and used a magnet to locate any roofing nails scattered on the ground.

Everyone we met from Reid’s – Aaron, Steve, and everyone on the crew - was incredibly friendly and helpful.

A roof is only an occasional acquisition, and it’s not a cool, fun purchase, so it’s hard to know where to start when researching it. Even with some facts gleaned from research, we were reliant on the expertise of our contractor. We are so happy that we found Reid’s Roofing and are grateful for the expertise that they shared.

Reid's Roofing did a terrific job replacing our roof in June 2014. The work team was efficient and extremely tidy, as well as professional and polite. The team carefully disposed of all old shingles and other debris removed from the roof as they worked, replaced the roof shingles, flashing and valleys and swept up afterward, leaving our property exceptionally clean. All work was completed in one eight-hour day. Our new roof looks beautiful! We were very impressed.
Aaron provided us with all details of work and types and colours
of shingles to choose from when we met for our initial quote. Aaron also provided references of other homes in our neighbourhood who used Reid's Roofing. These folks were very pleased with Reid's Roofing. We finalized our requirements with Aaron shortly after. Aaron gave us a tentative week when our roofing would be completed and the roof was done during that week as expected.
