The tech was John B. he came to give our radiating hot water system a yearly check up. Very polite and professional. Needed to order in a part for a leaking valve. We have used MacKay for years and have always been pleased with the service and outcome.

We have had a furnace service plan with MacKay for several years now. They have always been prompt and efficient.We even had occasion where our furnace stopped while we were away. Our security monitoring service contacted them and they came out and took care of the problem without delay.

Christmas Eve we noticed we were a little chillier than usual. At 1:30 am after trying to light the pilot ourselves without holding a flame, we called MacKay. Half hour and done.

Annual furnace maintenance, subsequent installation of new heat exchanger

During annual service call Andrew discovered a problem with heat exchanger, The part was ordered and he returned to install and complete the maintenance when it was available. He was very thorough in the work, explained what he was doing and why, and answered all questions very knowledgeably. He cleaned up the area when he was finished. He was very polite and courteous. I was pleased with the service.

John the technician was punctual- he actually arrived a few minutes early;respectful - John was polite as well as covering his shoes and taking care not to knock into things on a narrow staircase, competent - he thoroughly checked and cleaned the furnace as well as did some troubleshooting and helpful - he made some very helpful suggestions regarding my system .

Furnace repair

The ice storm caused a power outage for over 7 hours. Our furnace came on but did not heat the house. Called Mackay and they sent out Andrew and he promptly came to fix the issue. Excellent service. Felt very comfortable with answers give by the tech guy.

It was raining when John B arrived (on time) to service the furnace. Upon entering the house he put plastic booties on his shoes to protect the floors, this was much appreciated. He was thorough, proficient and conversant with his duties. I would be pleased to have him back in the future.
