We had an addition to the house and needed to match the stucco of the old house. Dave and his crew were absolutely fabulous! He matched the stucco perfectly and his colleague Marc did a great job painting. Dave's crew was also very good, helpful and got things done quickly--Jesse even helped my daughter on his lunch break!

Dave's attention to customer service is second to none--he communicated well, was very respectful and did everything we asked for and beyond. He put on some wood borders to match the old house and even fixed some of the fascia that was not done properly by another contractor. He also came back a couple of times and fixed up anything that was not 100% right. They did awesome stucco work--you won't be disappointed. His price was good but more importantly, his work was impeccable.

Dave and his crew did a very thorough job repairing two main problem areas. The first was the side of our attached deck where the stucco was badly cracked on the corner as well as overall stucco discolouration due to dirty water flow off the top deck surface. They dismantled the corner structure and rebuilt it with new paper and wire mesh. They then applied new colour-matched stucco over the repaired corner as well as over the rest of the discoloured side of the deck. Also, they installed additional deck flashing to help prevent dirty water running down the new repaired stucco surface. The colour of the repaired stucco matched the rest of the house very closely.

The second problem area was on a lower portion of our house where the parged surface would start to slowly crumble after repeated wet periods. Dave diagnosed that the wire mesh was not properly secured to the foundation in the problem area resulting in movement causing the parging to crumble. To rectify the problem, they added additional wire mesh and securely attached it to the foundation. They then applied new parging over the repaired area. Again, another thorough repair.

They also performed a number of miscellaneous touch-ups over various cracks around windows.

Dave and his crew were friendly and patiently answered my questions before and during the repairs.

I had my deck replaced over the summer and there was discoloration and damage left by the old deck. Dave repaired the damage and discoloration and color matched the old stucco.

I had to fix a leaking problem that cause damage in the garage stucco. I got at least 6 estimates, when I met David, he was very kind, respectful, on time with our appointment, explained very well the scope of the job and gave a very reasonable price.
I made a decision to work with him and he went above and beyond, even repaired few cracks and filled some spots that were not part of the estimate. He also change a rotten piece of plywood and was not extra.

A woodpecker had chipped away some of our stucco. Through Homestars, we got quotes from a few highly-rated companies. The team that came with Dave was just like Dave in their competence and courtesy.
They discovered that the wood panels behind the stucco were completely rotted through; Dave was right, it wasn’t a bird problem but a water-stucco problem.
NexGen took a couple of days to demo, rebuild the chimney and apply stucco. We are very happy with the end result and the things we learned from the team along the way.
A suggestion: chat with your neighbours when NexGen is coming, just in case the team needs to get into your neighbour’s yard to erect scaffolding.

I reached out and got quotes from several contractors to patch my stucco where a old man door was removed. My stucco is circa 1950's so very hard to match. All contractors with the exception of Dave said they had to spray on stucco and that it would still be a visible patch even after paining. Dave was not only the most reasonably priced quote but he was the only one who knew that the stucco had to be hand do e in order to match the vintage ha d done stucco. He and his team did a great job!

I think our job was fairly small but Dave and his team didn’t treat our project as such. His entire team gave it fair attention and were at our house both days by 830 am ready to go. When they came across a few unexpected things on the job they didn’t miss a beat and worked through them without complaint.

When it came time to paint we had an issue with paint matching as one side of my house gets more sun than the other and hence had faded differently. Once again, Dave and team didn’t miss a beat and figured out a reasonable solution, communicated it to me and the outcome is great.
