New Image Flooring

Good product, installation ok, fit and finished terrible, needed another crew to fix and finish. First installer very messy (cutting material in house) and unplanned long days made it impossible for us to plan the evenings. After some discussion, company was willing to fix what needed to be fixed and gave us a minimal discount for my 3 days of cleaning.
If you choose this company, be your own project manager and keep communication open between you, the installer and the company. After everything is said and done and the stress is gone, the floors look great.

I needed carpet for my 2 bedrooms in my condo. I found New Image through the internet and gave them a call. I was pleased with everything from start to finish.
I told the salesman (Syno) that I was on a budget and what I was looking for. He showed me carpet that was in that budget and on sale (It is beautiful!) I was going to have him come to measure after a short vacation I was going on but when he took my address down and realized that we were practically neighbors he offered to come on his day off and measure for me so that I wouldn't have to wait so long.They were out of sample pieces of the carpet for me to take home and he offered to bring the large store sample to my home one evening if I wanted to see it before it was installed.
The installer they sent (Sylvie. I don't think I've spelled it right...) was excellent! He was professional and pleasant to have in my home. He was organized and it was obvious that he knew what he was doing.
I would recommend New Image to any of my friends!

New Image Flooring were great to deal with. Although we only had a small installation to do (one living room), we were treated like a customer who would be spending much more money. We really liked the low pressure approach, as opposed to pushy salesmen that we experienced at a couple of other places. Marek was very helpful and accommodating, and they were able to fit us in on a rush installation (only 2 days after ordering!). We will likely be doing a couple of other flooring jobs in our house in the future as our renovations continue, and New Image Flooring will be our go-to for those as well.

At first we really liked everything about New Image. The guys were easy to deal with. Beautiful products with great pricing. Labour costs were down because I believed they were a smaller company. The deposit was put down, and product ordered. The flooring was delivered when they said it would be. The guys started on the day we agreed on, but thats when the problems started. The crew that was sent to do the work had no idea what flooring was going where. We had two types of tile and laminate flooring to be installed throughout the house. If we werent there I wonder what would have happened as I had to explain what went where. They started tear out and prep the first day and did manage to get some flooring completed. However, The tiles in the bathroom were crooked, lifting, and done poorly. They put my toilet on wrong and flooded the bathroom and that in turn leaked into my kitchen downstairs and stained my ceiling. They used a terrible cheap powder filler between the bathroom tile that got vaccumed up and left huge gaps in the floor. The main floor tile was crooked and had huge gaps all over. The owner shawn had to come to my house 2 times to see poor workmanship and the damage to my ceiling. When the job was done I was very unhappy and there was alot of areas that needed to be fixed.

In all fairness Shawn was great to deal with. He agreed to paint my main floor ceiling because of the stain. However again the crew came in and painted the ceiling only to splatter oil based paint all over my walls, floor and furniture. Shawn did agree to have the tile grouted and sealed to fix the bad work, however that took months to accomplish and 3 different people/crews to come and get it done right. He had to knock off $1200 from the bill due to the damage his crew did to my home.

The sub trade crews for this business are terrible. Poor work, terrible attention to detail, and just sloppy all around. This job cost New Image Flooring money due to all the screwups. The guys in the showroom are great to deal with, however if the crews dont figure it out they will ruin this business, My floor started March 17th, and was done May 31st. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
