The ARCO experience was top-notch, very well organized from initial assessment to contract proposal review to the completed work. Art and his team met and exceeded all of our expectations for this project. The team that did the work was very polite and performed their duty in a very workman-like manner, efficiently and with very little disturbance to us or our neighbours. They cleaned up thoroughly the first night and then dd an extra special clean-up on the second day. In fact they were scheduled for 3 days but had all the work done in 2 days. We had a very good and thorough post-completion meeting with Art after his team had finished, showing us pictures of all the work done and explaining everything that they found and did on our roof. I recommend them very highly as a truly professional and experienced outfit.

As this was our first time in a house with cedar shakes we didn't know what to expect. Art did a detailed quote and walked us through it step by step. The roofers were punctual, polite and tidy. We were very impressed with the level of workmanship, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness. ARCO did an initial cedar shake roof inspection and repair for us in 2012, and we were very impressed with the quality of the work, and the understanding of the words "customer service". It was suggested to us that we follow up on the initial inspection and repair in five years, and we did so this summer. Once more, extremely happy with the job done, and Art's willingness to answer questions and his commitment to having us understand how the repairs are assessed and priced. My 1999 home has a treated pine shake roof, which had received no maintenance prior to my purchase. Following Arco’s inspection, I had to wait longer than I expected to receive the quote from them (busy time of year I believe). However, the wait was worth it. The quote was precise and detailed, and included a roof drawing identifying specific repairs, as well as relevant photos. It defined exactly what work was required to maintain my roof’s performance for the next 5 years, including a couple of small items beyond the shake/ridge caps that needed replacement. Art, Arco’s principal, spent time to review the quote in detail with me, and gave me the confidence to proceed with them. The quote was competitive. The installation team of two was very professional, efficient, and polite. They also did a great job of cleanup. I have no hesitation in recommending Arco for shake roofing repairs.

Inspected our roof after a suspected leak and after assessment noted that it was not our roof. We did maintenance work with them as well as replacing our caps as they were honest, reliable and very knowledgeable.

Art was very thorough he came to our house, took pictures, sat with us and explained different kinds of shakes and treatments, pointed out some of the potential problems and provided lots of options. ARCO and it's crew did an impeccable job, arriving on time, completing the work as per the contract, and cleaning up perfectly after themselves. Art did a good job of making is feel confident in the needs of our roof and his knowledge aided us in trusting that what we were being told and shown through photographs was necessary. Art and his crew were fantastic. Art first reviewed the intial inspection and estimate personally. He outlined the problems with the shake roof and presented a concise detailed plan as to how his crew will do the repairs. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently.
