Avoid this company at all costs!!! Not sure where the good reviews came from, probably written by their staff. But this company has some unprofessional staff especially at their head office. Also, do not be fooled by the 2-week policy of finishing and giving you $100/day if not finished because they will blame it on your house as much as possible.
We started our basement mid-June and did not finish until August.
The head office is difficult to contact and will push you around once they've locked you into the sale. They've also put in their sign on my lawn and had one referral which promised 3% of the total cost of the referred person's basement reno but only gave an amount at their discretion and you would have to chase them for it! The referred's basement was $35K x 3% = $1,050 but said will only be given $300 and have to pick up the cheque. Until I told them that I could give them another referral if they give me the full $1,050, which they acted upon so quickly! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
There is no coordinated timeline and project plan, you would have to sort of coordinate and ask them on your own as they would not update you on the project. People will just come in and out of your house.
I also had to fight for a few things that were written on the contract that was supposed to be included but at the headoffice they it's not. So, your salesperson will lure you in and tell you all the good stuff but once you're in. You will never him from him/her again.
Again like I said, avoid this company at all costs. The head office is comprised of unprofessional people with no formal education in office handling and planning or customer service. It seems they are all related or friends that collaborate with each other and no one in the office will hear you out.
