I needed to relocate the 30 amp outlet for my clothes dryer and decided to hire a professional. After shopping around and reading reviews I decided on Danco Electrical. I called Dan and explained what I needed to do. He quoted me $350 over the phone which was about what I was expecting. He came over a few days later and did a fantastic job. He had to remove the vapour barrier and some insulation from the walls in order to thread the wires and he put it all back when he was done. In the end he charged me less than the original quote. Thanks Dan.

Based on Danco Electrical Services's Homestars reviews, I called him up to help me with non-working outdoor lights. Daniel called back and we arranged a time for him to come. He came on time, did the electrical work very professionally. efficiently and explained what the problems were so that I understood what he was doing. Since I had aluminum wiring it required additional procedures. Daniel answered all my electrical questions and I appreciate very much that he also initiated and took time to explain my invoice to me. Yes, I would hire Danco Electrical Services again. The Homestars reviews on Danco were accurate and I have already recommended this company to my friends. On a further note, Daniel worked on my outdoor lights on a rainy day without any complaints. Thanks, Danco for the very professional Electrical Services.

I required a 240, 30 amp line for my electrical water tank.I received three quotes and Danco electrical was the most reasonable. The work was done on time and in an efficient manner. The They took the time to explain how and they were going to run the line and answered all my questions to my satisfaction I would use Danco for future jobs and highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs doesn't matter how small,they take the time were very professional

We purchased a new diningroom fixture that we thought would be easy to install - no such luck. Even with Dan on the case, he had to find a work-around, because the installation kit that came with the fixture was pretty crappy. Dan was great - efficient, good humoured, and committed to making things work out. Will definitely call him for our next job!

Dan arrived on time as scheduled and quickly inspected my basement fluorescent light fixture which had stopped working despite having replaced the tubes. I had suspected the ballast was toast, Dan came with one just in case and replaced the faulty one once he confirmed that to be the case.
Very pleasant workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend or use his services again.

I called because there was no power to my pool shed and the pool pump wouldn't run. Over the phone, Dan walked me through a test of the power and determined that the problem was the pump and not the electricity. He saved me a costly service visit. It was one of those experiences that reinforces your faith in the honesty of people. I highly recommend Dan.

We went out to several electrical contractors for estimates for our 2,000 sq/ft basement renovation. Dan arrived promptly and gave us a comprehensive assessment of the work required and associated costs. He made a number of insightful suggestions to improve on our initial plan. We really liked his keen interest in the project and work ethic. He worked long hours to fit our schedule and made sure everything was done to exacting standards. He came in exactly on budget and didn't cut back on services anywhere. We can't say enough about this guy and the work he did; he's great, hard working and easy to talk to. We highly recommend him any electrical job - big or small.

I called because my GFI plug was not working (or so I thought). Prior to coming Dan asked many questions to ensure that it wasn't on a switch and that it just wasn't tripped in order to help me not have to pay for a visit. I assured him it was not on a switch and asked him to come. He came to my place and tested the plug and said there was no power. He than traced many of the issues that it could have been eliminating them one by one.
The last step was to test all light switches in the house to see if one of them was a switch for the GFI.. Although I told him I knew what all switches were for, he insisted and low and behold, it was a switch all along. My fault! Dan was completely professional (and didn't make fun of me). I would recommend him to any and all people looking for an electrician.

Excellent service - professional, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly. Dan solved an unexpectedly complicated issue in just a few hours, and rearranged his schedule so as to be able to finish the job in one visit. What's more, he realized that he had inadvertently charged us a bit too much, got in touch with us, and refunded the money - honesty and integrity that we really appreciated. We will be calling Danco for any future electrical jobs.

Daniel did a fantastic job. In and out in a couple of hours. Zero mess, super tidy work. The end result exceeded our expectations. Our quote and final invoice were spot on.
