Rei Real Estate Inspections

Geoff was very great! I appreciated his thoroughness, patience and willingness to explain things to me. If we ever need an inspection in the future we will most certainly be using REI again.

Geoff ,of R.E.I. Service, was on site promptly at designated time. He was received by the owner of the property and my brother, a professional contractor, who I asked to oversee and aid in the inspection, as I felt I lacking in the construction vernacular which could prove valuable in understanding all communications to transpire. Geoff was very receptive to request and positive to all interactions. My brother reported that Geoff was very thorough in the service being provided and pleasant to work with. The inspection took about 2 1/2 hours, at the end of which Geoff reviewed his impressions with both me and my brother and indicated all his orally reported findings would be followed up with a written report in a few days. The written report was received as promised and proved to reflect his thoroughness. I was very pleased with both the professional work done and the pleasant manner in which it was conducted. I highly recommend R.E.I.Services on the bases of professional services I received from Geoff Latam.

I was very nervous at the thought of purchasing an older home and knew I would need the right home inspector to ensure everything was gone through thoroughly. I searched the internet for reviews on good home inspectors and Geoff Latham's name came up with REI. I made the decision to hire him based off excellent reviews and I am so glad I did! Geoff was extremely personable, explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. You know the job is being done right when time is taken and not rushed and after a 4 hour process of inspecting my new home I feel completely at ease that Geoff and REI have given me all the answers I need. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspection done right!

Geoff Latham was awesome to work with. Very informative, professional and personable! Being a first time home buyer and a person who is not very handy around the home, Geoff explained everything I would have to repair, what would need to be replaced, all that was right and wrong about this house. I checked the reviews for R.E.I. using HomeStars and I'm really glad I had Geoff come in to do the inspection for my first home purchase. He did a very thorough assessment of the property and the written report he provided at the end of the inspection was very detailed and included recommendations to rectify the issues he found with the home. Geoff was a pleasure to work with. His knowledge and insight to pick out minor details that can turn into major problems was excellent. He was very thorough and accommodating, as well as a great communicator of any issues he thought i should be aware of. Geoff made sure that my new home would be safe and hassle free for my family to live in for years to come. You can't put a price on " peace of mind", and for that reason i'm grateful to Geoff and his staff.

Geoff was great! I am a first time homebuyer and Geoff was very informative. and answered all my questions. He was thorough and took his time to go through the whole house. He noticed some indications of moisture on the floor in the basement and sure enough he found out that the sump pump wasn't working correctly. He gave lots of tips and tidbits to me for minor fixes throughout the place. Definitely will use him again in the future.

Researched bunch of Home inspectors in the Edmonton Area and came upon homestars and saw REI...so figured give it a try with the excellent reviews.
Geoff was great, he answered all our questions and was very thorough with the inspection. When the inspection was done we had some additional questions the next day and he was more than willing to answer and clarify anything we didn't understand in the report.

Very detailed, spent time going over the issues seen and explained them well. Friendly and professional. Straight forward and listened to and answered all questions. I would recommend REI anytime!
